Constructive criticism needed. I taped some matches between my friends and me. They both suck though because they are newbies. These matches dont really show how well I can play because their stupid movement patters dont allow me to combo them well.
I already know I dont spam SHL enough and I use shine way too much. But thats about all I can tell for myself. :ohwell: Anyways here are the vids.
Me (Falco) vs ZETA (Shiek) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5i6j9kUK3M8)
Me (Falco) vs ZETA (Shiek) on battlefield (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6HVFfv1nCA)
Me (Falco) vs Elfboy (Falco) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML46s1E9yG4)
Me (Falco) vs Elfboy (Fox) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VJRoQCZZgQ)
I didnt post this in the 1v1s section because I am afraid people would be too harsh on my friends and I wanted specific criticism on my falco not on the other characters.

um... you're pretty good at least in the sense that it seems like you have the genral techniques down. like you said for yourself more shls would be great into sffled aerials for sure. use the shine a little more sparingly there are plently of times when you miss a shine in the air that could have been a nair, bair or dair.. also no offense but its kind of good to show a vid where you aren't raping your opponents, if i didn't know that you couldn't give computers name i would just assume that you were fighting level 1 or 2 computers your friends are pretty ****ty. either tell them to get better or get a video of yourself fighting a real opponent honestly they were both jokes...

um stop double jumping and attacking from top
not the best strategy
use lasers as approach
ur pattern attacks dun work on better players
Your friends are godawful and I can tell you play way too many lvl 1 CPUs and Classic mode. Your pillaring and shine to d-air combos are very solid, but thats about all you do. If you double jump to dair to shine to dair over and over, you realize you'd be getting 4-stocked by anyone competent? A good Marth or Fox would absolutely destroy you if you use this strategy, because they'd shieldgrab you out of the d-air and chainthrow or follow you into the air.
I never once saw you use a n-air and you never even SHHFL'd a SHL to n-air or dash approach. Like, I said your waveshines and pillaring are quite good, but its very one dimensional and is a really bad habit to rely on 2-3 moves. D-air is a great move, but you were using it as often as most Falcos SHL.

Ouch but okay.
I watched some of the other videos and it wasn't quite as bad as I first thought. You know how to use Falco to attack horizontally but you don't do it and instead rely on shine d-air combos. The reason I say you play too much Classic mode and lvl 1 CPUs is because a full jump to d-air is the easiest way to confuse the dumb CPU and it looks like you've gotten used to doing it way too much against CPUs that dont DI.
You really really need to play better people who know how to DI and actually play. You have the technical skill and your pillaring is much better than mine but your mindgames need a lot of work. I've seen a lot of really great Falco matches where they pillared only maybe 3-4 times the entire match. Sometimes all you need is SHL and SHFFLing to have a solid Falco. If you keep pillaring constantly, you run the risk of screwing up and leaving yourself open. Even Bombsoldier and Dope mess up a pillar once in a while and they don't base their entire strategy on trying to pillar.

Okay thanks. Yeah that was a bit harsh at first but now I dont feel so bad. Ill try to use more Nairs because not only are they easier to hit with but the are a sex kick. So yeah. I just watched some Falco vs Fox matches and the falco would predict the fox's jump and do a full jumped Nair that killed the fox. Seems like a much better strategy than just trying to start up a pillar with a SHFFLd Dair every chance I get. Not SHLing alot is just a habit I did get from playing LV1s I tried so hard to et my pillaring as solid as it is that I forgot the other most basic aspect that comes with Falcos gameplay.
Yeah I was kind of harsh, sorry about that..........I get too worked up on critiquing people.
I can tell you worked hard on your pillaring because its very very good........I wish I could pillar that consistently. I'm kind of the opposite, my horizontal game and SHL is really good but I'm not great at pillaring, so I need to practice more.
About practicing on lvl 1's, its true that its better than lvl 9s who just powershield everything but there are a few advantages to playing a lvl 9 CPU in my opinion. If you play a lvl 9 Fox as Falco, it will probably improve your approaches and SHL because CPU Fox seems to be bad at powershielding, can DI decently, and can shield d-airs better. He also grabs alot so you learn to tech and DI out of his throws really well.
I've seen some really good Falco vids on youtube that helped me a lot if you haven't seen them yet these are some good ones:
