Anyways, what do you think of this guy:

Apperance in a Nintendo System:
Guilty Gear X (GBA)
Guilty Gear Dust Strikers (NDS)

B - GunFlame: Sol sticks Fireseal (his sword) into the ground and fire goes in a wave.
B-up - Volcanic Viper: A flaming flying uppercut.
B-dwn - Fafnir: lunges a bit with a flaming punch. Similar to Falcon Punch.
B-fwd - Bandit Bringer: Sol jumps up, flames appear on his hand, Sol punches down.

Super- Dragon Install: Attack increases, send even the heaviest and low damaged opponets flying.

Oh well. He has no chance, but if he did what would you think?

He'd have to have his character theme, though. Keep Yourself Alive is simply a bad*** song.

Also, his special should be Napalm Death (his Instant Kill in Reload)

Sol is amazing, it's a shame he as little to no chance of making it in, but a man can dream right? I personally play Faust when I play guilty gear, and I always figured HE'd be fun to play in smash...

no, they only have to have been on a nintendo console, two guilty gear games have been on nintendo systems (GGX was on GBA, and Dust Strikers was on DS)

Anyway, I would like to see this guy make it into Brawl. I don't think he has a great chance or a huge fanbase, but I would like to see him. Not a bad suggestion, but it's very unlikely.

i don't think characters from other fighters that are still ongoing will be in the game because they're sort of competing.

it would be pretty cool if he was in there, but im sure he won't be.

also, i don't think he'd look as cool in 3D

That alone is enough reason on why he shouldn't be in Brawl.

Yes, Sol has nil chance. It's been said multiple times, even by the Sol supporters. We can still dream, though, can't we?

And Sol is nowhere near the creepy/weird factor that Faust reaches. By no means. I can think of two reasons why Faust shouldn't be in Brawl:

1. Scalpel-
2. Enema

Use your imagination, it's not that hard. >_<

Sol''s cool and all, but it would be cool if BOTH KY AND SOL were in Brawl, since they are both the head-liner of the series. Well, I guess I-no is too.

On the downside it would be another sword character (hell, it could be a super lighter). And yes its very unlikley, but he IS the main charector of the best 2d fighter this side of street fighter. Its a long shot, but it could happen.

Also, what about a course to go with him?

they'd probably fight on the May Ship, and the other guilty gear characters would randomly appear (like the pokemon in the first smash bros.) and perform one of there moves (ex. Dizzy would attack with an ice spike, or Faust would use one of his door attacks, or johnny would throw coins at people, or bridget would creep everyone out and the game would abruptly end. Even though Sol stands no chance of making it in, I would be most pleased if Guilty Gear gets a nod by nintendo in some way (A character's movelist, color scheme, item, etc.), I'd much rather have Faust or Dizzy in Brawl then Sol though...

And Faust is awesome he is the best character to come out of that series. After him Bridget, I-No and Robo-Ky are cool too.

I love Faust. It's just that Sol's cooler and has a better theme song. If they wanted some random left-field character, though, Faust deserves it.

gg ftw. although i personally think they should stay in their own game (i mean i already have enough trouble trying to burst out in smash after playing gg. i don't wanna be trying to dust loop my opponents too). the style is just so different i don't think it'd be a faithful match. i'd rather go play slash if i want to play a gg char anyway.

johhny is far cooler, but also, what GG would we take sol from? certainly not XX slash where he's god tier...

i love the guilty gear games and all but with smash? god no, one of the better reasons is because its 2-d vs. 3-d but my more fighting game tier list/hardcore side has these reasons.

1. GG is a combo driven game where combo's led into overdrives are NEEDED, youtube or google video searches with top players will show that its almost always the first combo that gets it. smash isnt quite that hardcore at all

2. tier list. tier list. tier list. in teh newest GG (XX Slash) sol (and ky) are GOD tier, yup, god tier, near untouchable when played correctly. i dont want to bring ANYTHING to do with that much unbalance into smash

How bout this, how could you NOT like Guilty Gear? ALL of the characters are farfetched, from a demon to a swordsman with fire to a 10-foot tall doctor to a cross-dressing nun who attacks with yo-yos? (Yeah, Bridgette really is a guy. Freaked me out when I first heard it :scared: ) and fun to play as! Not to mention the refrence to Rock music in the 80's and 90's!
EDIT: Friendship, WHAT THE H*** IS DOMO-KUN! HE'S EVERYWHERE NOW, BUT I'VE NEVER HEARD OF HIM UNTILL RECENTLY!

Friendship better have been talking about Eddie and not Sol (aka Frederick, hint hint). And like I've said before, you can't go wrong with a game where everything with a name is either self-explanatory or a hidden allusion to good ol' rock 'n' roll.

yes, i was talking about eddie. here is some info on domo-kun from wikipedia.
Domo-kun (どーもくん) is the mascot of Japan's NHK television station, appearing in several short stop-motion sketches. To anyone talking about GG Tier lists or GG mechanics when considering Sol for Smash. You must remember that Smash Bros. is not and will not be Guilty Gear. If Sol Badguy, Faust, Bridget or any of those guys gets into Smash, they are physically incapable of transforming it into a Guilty Gear Combo-fest, just because that isn't what Smash is.

The fact that Sol is Top tier in GGXX is as irrelevent as saying that Mewtwo is such a broken Pokemon in Red/Blue that he is banned from tournament play. Being broken in one game didn't stop Mewtwo from being balanced out against the rest of the smash cast. If Sol gets in, he will have to conform to the Smash way, and be balanced on an entirely different tier system.

Also, remember, Tiers are entirely fan-made, and thus are even MORE irrelevent in the picking and choosing of characters for Smash.
