JCed Shine help

I would just like to know what is the most effective way of practicing a jced shine (the one where you don't leave the ground obviously), and which button do people prefer to perform it x, y or up. do any have an advantage of being easier or are they all just as effective.

also if anyone could link any falco matches where a player uses a jced double triple or + shine as a pillar i would really be appreciative.

People refer to shines as being JCed when you do a shine and then jump in the air (not wavedashing). Waveshining is where you do a shine and then wavedash out. I think you are asking how to waveshine so I will give my opinion. To waveshine I use the side of my index finger on y to jump out of the shine (enables you to do it quicker) and I use L to "dodge" to perform the wavedash out of a shine. To practice it just go to final destination or something and just simply practice wavedashing out of a shine. Once you get it down practice following up a SHFFLed dair with a waveshine. Good Luck!

no i really am reffering to a jc shine, waveshining/ dashing i have little to no problem with now

if u are just tryin to JC ur shine, i use X. but if u are tryin to do the 2x (or 3+) JCed shines then use Y (its easier to slide ur thumb from Y to B then to go over A using X).

if u want to jump into the air and hit someone with a shine and JC it into an aerial, use the control stick. that way u can hit a peach with a shine > b-air at high percents (150s). [this tactic is **** near impossible to do with X/Y so the control stick is ur best bet]
