jump canceling a shine

i heard something about a special timing when jumping as fast as possible out of a shine.
it almost never works for me, is it just about pressing x/y/up as fast as possible or could i be too fast?
short question, short answere plz :D

the method i use to do a jc'd shine while shffling, i simply shorthop with x, hold down the whole time(this does not make you fast fall) press b to shine and simply press up on the joystick and do dairs bairs and uairs(rarely).

this will take time to get used to and awhile to use properly in matches, just don't spam it it sometimes ruins combos.

I jump cancel shine like this example:

SH nair press \/ to fast fall and fast press L to L cancel. now Press \/ B and imidiate jump what ever way you want.. this way it worked for me to practice :S

press down again to fast fall if your performing a dair, which is a spike somewhat in the PAL version.

personally, i like to reset to joystick after every movement (except 2x JCed and techs o fthose sorts). this allows me to FF whenever i need to and allows full control of DI. JCing a shine in the air is faster than on the ground i believe. so if u hit a someone in the air with a shine at any percent (except really low and not incrediably high like low 200%s). shine and then flick ur left thumb up on the joystick as fast as u can and as u press up to jump use the c-stick to perform ur aerial. usually a bair or dair works best.

It depends on whether you're past the peak of your jump and if you tilt down or tap down. If you're not past the peak of your jump a dair won't make you fastfall. Since aerials don't distinguish between smashing and tilting, if you're past your jump's peak, you will only fastfall if you smash the control stick down for the dair. If you tilt down or use the C-stick, no fastfall will occur.

And for JCing the shine, there's no real special timing. Shines can't be JC'd for a few frames after they begin, I think. Unless you're jumping impossibly fast, you're probably taking too long to press jump after releasing the shine.
