Let's cut to the chase. Queensland vs. Victoria. I'd wouldn't be lying if I said everyone wants to see this. You guys don't need other states to help you out. So it could be something like QLD vs. VIC vs. Aus, unless other states bring enough of a crew. Let's gophers.

Triss - the concept of donations is unfair, especially to those who travel on their own accord, while someone else freeloads. That is, of course, that person we're trying to bring over absolutely kicks the crap out of everyone or is highly desired - a distinguished guest.

If I were to get the state to raise money, I'm sure they'd have all sorts of opinions where the money should be spent. I'd go for a centralized venue, accommodation (e.g SEAT2), and what not, but I'd ask the community who raised the money where they want the money to go.
