View Full Version : Get out of the sheild

When I meet good players and I sheild they won't let me out of it. For example falco shines the sheild then wd to the other side of me and shine again and so on. What can I do? the only thing I can come up with is to not sheild in the first place :dizzy:

Roll dodging works, but it can be predicted quite easily cause its one of your only options. with fox, you can shine out of shield...lol, not too easy though. unless you jump with c-stick out of shield and shine, its easier but takes some getting used to. if all he does is waveshine back and forth on yo shield, you can usmash out of shield him, by pressing up on the control stick and the c-stick at almost the same time, control stick first but barely, just enough for you to JC it. you can do a lot of things if thats all hes doing, but if he pillars your shield...roll i guess, lol. or get hit but dont do that. :) meow, im rambling.

ok. maybe the shine works but I don't think the usmash will work. cause I think it's the same as the sheild grab. it's too slow.

And how is that supposed to help you if someone is pillering/waveshining your sheild to pieces?

because you can slide away and in a pillar also you can tilt your shield up and grab cuz it chanegs the timing of the stun

ok. I'll try lightsheild when I'm in a situation like that. but can you always roll away in all situations?

Of course you can! Well, whether you get hit afterwords or not is a different question. I try rolling away from the pillaring Falco since shining out of the shield on the spot is very, very hard. JC upsmashing out of the shield sounds too slow but I have yet to try it. I think your safest escape is to just roll.

I can do the shine out of sheild. no problem. but I can't wavedah out of it when I have done it cause then I'm to slow. but i can do it out of sheild and still standing on the ground.

What I do to WD out of shield is the following...

If you WD with the X/Y, R like I do then change the shielding to the L-block and it will be easier to wavedash. (and vice versa)

what are you talking about? I know exactly how to wd out of sheild but who said that I should do that in those situations.
