I dont know who was in my bracket, but i played swiftbass, cort, yo-yo, etc. Brookman wouldve played me if he didnt lose to yo-yo (yo-yo beat nus too) and i woulda played blackmage if he didnt lose to swift. I dont really remember who else was in there. But I dont necessarily think it wouldve mattered. The only two people in the tourney that are outside my reasonable reach of winning against are cort and pc.
The point of putting that up there wasnt to say that I was incredible it was to show you that you shouldnt say someone isnt good or even insinuate it. Attacks on someones game should be limited to people who have a rep of being good themselves.

If you want to continue this conversation you can pmsg me. Because if we continue going back and forth like this we look like a bunch of douschebags. You know im not just some random dude. I am after all ranked top 15 in New England after only having played this game for like 9 months. I honestly dont know what you are trying to prove. People shouldnt have johns about brackets the only dominant players that were there were cort, kj, pc, and l2k. So unless you lost to 2 of them no johns please.

Pat, I'm not trying to put you down when I say this, because I regard pretty much everyone else on the list in the same light, but being on the top 15 is quite meaningless, especially as you get farther down the list. What matters is beating good people in tournament, if you keep improving and beat good people in tournament then you can brag (though I don't really think you're trying to brag, maybe a little though) all you want. Don't cheer about how you've cleaned your plate when all that was on it were a few peas.

I said it didnt mean that much. But there isnt anyone on the list that isnt seen as good. Ive taken matches from some really good people in tourenys. My intention really wasnt to brag. I only brought that up because he had said that I wasnt good and didnt know how to play against a specific character. I wasnt just going to say "i am too good" and let him take my word for it. Like when he said that I didnt know how to beat marth I named a really good marth that I had won against in the past. I just dont appreciate people calling me out. But its all good.

Redragon just because you go to tournaments with ken doesn't mean you are good. It's called an easy bracket.

I have beaten Snpr twice, Raqu close games, but lost the set, and taken 2 stocks off of Mana Falco and Sheik.........

I've never heard of them, save manacloud of course, but I only know of him due to his shady behavior regarding controller mods and scams and the like. Keep playing though.

so what, i have the 3rd best ganon in the state...does it mean anything???, the highest i've placed is 9th out of 23 people, i happen to be in one of the most competitive areas out there too, so what if you're in the same area as ken, doesn't mean crap in my books
anyways, i suck
i don't think marth will ever be number 1, compared to fox, falco and sheik, since these are the closest 4, he has too many match-ups not in his favor compared to the others (a lot of them are even compared to the others)

Marth's meta-game has reached it's peak, through m2k. Fox hasn't, but that's only because people have taken fox in the wrong direction.
What if they held a giant worldwide tournament each year and invited all the best players and all the world players and everything inbetween, and then they use those results to make the tierlist for the year.
If I was editing this list, I would put switch Peach with Shiek, and then move Peach up to the top tier and Falco to the spot just about Shiek.

I hate coming into this thread or even melee discussion, but ganon has an advantage against an aggressive marth,and goes even with a defensive marth. Trust me, ive played many good marth players and I doubt any of you played a ganon that knows the matchup well.
