LOL @ Brookman's peach explanation. I think peach gets beaten by all of the people above her in tiers pretty badly as well as by most characters that can out spam her. If you have the patience to avoid peach and you have a projectile you can just get her past good CC damage and the fight is all but over. Peach is fine at 5th but I am wondering if Falcon has better match ups overall? Although good peaches are frightening (especially to me maining ICs).

If the tier list was ordered solely by the largest tournament results then IC would be 3rd? cause of Chu, what people don't realize is the top 3 people are the best smashers in the world and the characters they play dont effect them nearly as much as someone less skilled. PC has insanely good tricks and Fox's fast movement helps him do this, M2K just never misses when he attacks so the range suits him. Chu is just retardedly unpredictable and his Nana is controlled by Chuck Norris.

The tier list is fine the way it is except I beleive Marth consistently places higher than Shieks and Falcos and that those characters could be moved a little bit, however ranking within tiers is largely irrelivant, Fox has like 1 bad match up, Marth has 1 bad match up, Shiek has 1 bad match up for the most part those characters are even, they triangularly counter eachother so who is to say who the best character is?

Sheik is awesome, she has almost twice as many moves as any other character, and she's a ninja, so she rolls +4 on awesomeness

If we're going to base placement just off of tournament results for the purposes of our discussion then we might as well look at results for the rest of the characters. Does player skill have anything to do with this too? I mean, look at the falco players, and then look at Drephen...Then look back at the falco players, then BACK AT DREPHEN. What has that got to do with tournament results? They WOULD be different if DJ HAD gone to them, but he didn't, so it doesn't matter where he would have placed. Just because someone doesn't go to a tournament doesn't mean that the results are skewed, even if the person not going is of dan's calibur. Let's not forget that ken and all the other good WC players are missing. So I guess that means even if dan had gone the results would still be off, mirite?

Always said that SWF should have two tier list.

One based on how well a character will do at a tourney based on tourney results themselves. And the other based on potential. Street Fighter: 3S has this set up for thier lists.

Because the guys at SRK have been playing since they were 14 and now the are all in thier mid 20's.

People here have no concept of other fighters and think they know it all but they don't. And the average player here is in their mid to late teens.

SRKers have more exp points.
