Wow this was an awesome tourney. I almost didn't go because of school and stuff but I'm glad I went, even though I did get pwned. But with the avergae skill level as high as it was, and me being a Kirby player and all, I couldn't NOT get pwned. I got to play some big names: KDJ, Sastopher and Zelgadis. I think I did all right for myself..

Which reminds me: Gojira, unless there's another Roger out there playing Kirby, I don't think I played you (especially since I *know* I didn't do any Bowser dittos) perhaps you mean T!mmy?

I suck at shoutout but I guess I'll do a few:

Simna: Man, you're hilarious. It was great to see you and Ender again. hackeysack was too good! Good job in the secret tourney ;-). I really wish Kirby was top tier like ness, but we can't all be top tier.

Ender: omg you're hackeysack skills are AMAZING. Heh, we didn't really talk too much or play which is too bad, although you would have owned me if we had played just like last time. I'm sorry about the whole LAX thing, I didn't even know Arash had try to contact me earlier until after I got back from the airport. So that was my fault. I really hope you were able to get back home all right.

Hawaiians: Face it, guys. You're all gonna be "The Hawaiians" from now on whether you like it or not :-). Housing you guys was a blast. I thought the place was gonna be way too small for that many people but I think we manged allright. Hoepfulyl your backs aren't too sore from sleeping on the floor. I hope you forgive me for shouting out to all of you at once, I'm bad with names.

KoreanDJ: "Don't walk away angry KoreanDJ!" Heh, Isai's too funny. I'm sorry to have brought that up again, but from what I know about you you seem to have a good sense of humor so I don't think you'll mind. For the record though, I know you were sandbagging, but I'm still **** proud of that meaningless meaningless friendly. :-) And besides, you got your revenge in pools, so it's all good right?

Sastopher and Zelgadis: You guys probably don't remember me, I was that kirby player who played some friendlies with you. I just want to say I really enjoyed our matches. Getting owned in friendlies is so much more enjoyable than getting owned in a tourney for some reason.

Canadians: Wow, you guys were really good. I don't know why, but I expected you guys to be a lot closer to my skill level than you actually were. Seriously you guys rock, even though I couldn't understand you a lot of the time cause you were speaking French. I'll definitely try to make sure my Kirby is more of a threat next time we get to play each other. It was a pleasure housing you guys.

Derrek: Sorry for mispelling your name! You are just an amazing player despite what you say about yourself. Thank you for showing me the awesome power of Forest Fox and Mantis Samus. Btw, I *hate* all Falcos because of you now :-P.

Jordan: It was a pleasure meeting and playing with you. Our Falcon dittos were pretty close, but you always got me in the end. Ah well. I shalll strive for a better Falcon for when we meet again. I hope you and Derrek made it to Ontario Airport all right.

Eric: I'm really sorry about the whole jamba juice thing. I know I got you to LAX somewhat late, I hope you were able to make your flight.

Neal: You rock. You and the rest of the staff deserve major props for running that thing. Special thanks for being my partner so I could get at least one game in during the doubles tourney.

Timmy: It was great to see you again man. I'm glad I was able to win a couple friendlies against you. It proves that I'm not completely worthless in Kirby dittos, although I guess only against other Kirby players.

Tommy: Wow, I can't believe I beat you in that one friendly we had. Dreamland for the win! Heh, I'm sure you'll get me next time. Your pichu is too good!

Ken, Mike. Jenny, and Helen: What can I say about you guys that hasn't allready been said? Much thanks for the everything you did.

The OC@ Staff: Congratulations on a job extremely well done guys. You all rock!
All right I guess that was more than a few shout outs. I know I forgot somepeople, and I'm sorry for that. If I remember, I'll try to get you guys in a later post.

I hate to think that no one remembers my name... I was the dude bro with the mohawk/Fatal Fury hat. I made this account name only because it somewhat fit, being named Kyle and always being called a jew (i'm not anything close to being religious). And I didn't really care for what I was eventually christened, Mosquito, nowadays usually Skeet or Skeeto. But now I don't care anymore, so I'm Mosquito.

HAHAHA too ****in funny..... you can't be serious thoe.....

The Game II
08-22-2006, 02:56 PM
I'm back from vacation and I got through the first nine pages before saying f-ck it, time to give my thoughts.

First of all, perhaps the most amazing grass-roots tournament I've ever been to. I've always told people locally that no tournament will ever rival TG6 in terms of the people running it and the major participation from the national and international communities, but OC2 definitely takes the spot now.

And really, big ups to the golf course. A putting green right next to the multipurpose room, they had to know we were going to go crazy every 2 minutes while people were putting. Those cheers were deafening at times.

I think with the exception of a couple people, everyone was cool with me from day 1 to the end, but those other people turned it around, so that was cool.

The best part of the tournament aside from the matches was seeing the support from the spectators and other competitors. When I was running around taping matches in the final 64 singles, I didn't expect much, but right away, people were mass gathering near one or two TVs. That's how strong the final 64 were. It was sick; a big-name match called almost every eight minutes, I can't think of any other tournament that was like that.

I'll keep my shoutouts to a minimum.

Caotic: Big ups to you for letting me help you tape matches. I think we ended up getting about 7 hours of tournament footage, not to mention the after-match interviews with some of the competitors. Great stuff and we've got to do it again at the next big tourney. btw, I have the names of the team battles on the tapes and I'll send them over through PM soon.

Neal: Man, what is there to say that hasn't been said already? Thanks for letting the giants fan stay at your house and help with running the tournament.

OC2 staff: Thanks for letting me help out with the tournament. Next time, I'll offer my services earlier, so I can get one of those cool t-shirts.

Everyone at Neal's house: Good stuff rollin with you all.

All the competitors, you all were awesome. Thanks for letting me bump you out of the way and get in your grill so I could tape your match or other peoples matches. As I look back, the only thing I should have done was set aside a tv with a vcr for people who specifically wanted their matches taped. We got all the big names, but I think a lot more names should have been taped.

wait, either that bracket is wrong or we played the wrong people at the tournament. We won our first round (can't remember their names) and then were eliminated by Japan the second round.

I think there are a couple mistakes in the teams bracket as well, as you have my team beatig two others. And seeing as how my team was *disqualified* in the first round, I don't see how that could happen unles both of those other two teams were also disqualified.

nealdt
08-22-2006, 11:38 PM
For teams: Scamp + Eddie was a duplicate team. They played under team NES Advantage. So technically you "won" the first game because it was against a bye. I believe Evil + Ice were also DQ'd for not showing up, but that might have been later in the tournament. So I think the results are OK. Also, you weren't DQ'ed first round, you just forfeitted your match.

Crews: which crew are you? There were two or three duplicate crews as well, so those were treated as byes in the bracket. Lemme know so I can double check everything.

What I am mad about...is how once we took a few stock off of omar, the team threw in the white flag and gave up against team koopa troop. Neal, being as blind as he is did not see that and thus for superfriends managed to pull some stalling tactics winning the match. So, so gay.

Well this past week has been one of the best weeks in my life! I really enjoyed meeting all of Smash's greatest and hanging out with all of you! Unfortunately it felt like it was all over so fast :(. It always seems like that when you have a great time because well... time flies when you're having fun. California is an amazing place and the weather was bright and sunny every day we were there without a cloud in the sky! There is also so much to do there, it really is a great place. Although not everything went as smoothly as planned, which is understandable with a tournament of this size, the tournament organizers were able to work around all the glitches and kinks and pull off a successful tournament.

I was the 3rd tallest guy at the venue wearing the black and green Bowser shirts all three days, so if you were at the venue, I'm sure you would have seen me at least once. It sucks that I didn't get to play or meet everybody, but with 200+ people in the building, it is next to impossible to go through everybody. And towards the tail end of the tourney, there were some instances where there were more TVs than Cubes, which NEVER happens! That was unfortunate because a lot more friendlies could have been done on those TVs perhaps.

The best things I remember from the week are the three days of the tournament itself, which was run very well, friendlies done at Ken's house, the trip to the beach where we buried Luis, SNAKES ON A PLANE and hanging out with SKYPAL and crew, the many times going out to eat such as the Denny's, chillin with my Canadian crew, and then Shaz, CAO, and I making our own way to Knotts Berry Farm.

The not so great things about the week were the lack of housing and transportation that stressed everybody out who was willing to help out. The housing situations that completely fell apart through quite a curveball. I still find it hard to believe that in the vast state of California only a very small handful of people offered to be hospitable to the out of staters and out of countriers. The people that were left housing all of the smashers did a phenominal job under the circumstances and the stress. I give a special thanks to Ken's family for what they went through dealing with 30+ smashers in the house and even cooking for us. Thank you very much for housing me and the rest of my Canadian buds. Also great job nealdt for housing as many as you were able to as well. I'm not sure who else besides Ken and nealdt were able to house, but somehow through shuttling some people to motels and such, it was actually able to work out. The three 15 seater vans were a good idea as well, I have no idea what we would have done without them! There was a shortage of drivers to take people around to begin with! So yeah, housing and transportation seemed to be the biggest drawback of this tournament, but it is understandable due to the vastness of the tourney. The people that tried to make the housing and transportation work out tried really really hard! Thank you so much!

The terribly unfortunate things of the week I'd have to say were CAOTIC and Shaz getting mugged at gunpoint one block away from Ken's house after getting off the bus from the beach on Sunday night. That came as such a shock because it was supposed to be a good neighbourhood and everything. It sucks so bad that CAO and Shaz not only had all their cash stolen, but their wallets and ID as well. They aren't even from this country and they will need to get back to theirs! What a hassel for you guys, that sucks so bad. At least you guys are OK, that's what everyone was concerned about the most. Money and ID and such can be replaced. I hope they catch those *******s and lock them away and then hopefully get your money and ID back. The second very unfortunate thing for me was that I somehow caught a very serious foot infection when I went to the beach on Sunday. I cut my foot and it must have gotten infected very deep. I didn't start noticing any symptoms until Thursday night at the Denny's restaurant. My right ankle was all swollen and sore as hell and everything. Each day that went by my foot started swelling up more and more until finally the whole foot was swollen about 50% larger than it should be... not cool. I wanted to wait until I got back home to Canada because well... our health care rocks. So yeah I have to go for IVs at the hospital three times a day for a week so it's no fun. I just got bad luck I guess. I still didn't let it ruin my trip and I'm sure I will be able to make a full recovery.

As for my performance at the tourney, overall I was quite pleased. Although I was not selected as a member of my own countries crew (Team Canada was too afraid to take a risk having a good Bowser on their team I guess), I enjoyed watching them and I think they did quite well; especially chesterr who took many stock each time he played. The best accomplishment would be Gimpyfish and I finishing 33rd / 98th in teams going DOUBLE BOWSER in Team Boozer. We were quite proud of that! The next day in the singles pool, I seriously had a smash off day... actually just an off day in general. I have a john for that and it's a valid john, my body was fighting the foot infection at that time! I know I could have done better, but... meh, what can you do? It was just frustrating to come all the way to California for a major tournament like this and suck so bad, but that's how it goes sometimes. I still had a ton of fun. The crews competition was awesome competiting as the Koopa Troop, a full Bowser team of myself, Arash, CAOTIC, Gimpyfish and Gojira. Although we were knocked out early, we lost with style! GO BOWSER! I think the event that took all the spotlight from all 3 days and should have been considered the main event was the BOWSER CHALLENGE! That was ridiculously fun to do. I cannot wait for the videos to come up. The Bowser Challenge continued to be performed at Ken's house, with Captain Jack's famous and hilarious quote "What? No friendly fire?". Good stuff... good stuff!

I was pretty snap happy like I always am on a holiday and I took a ton of pictures, around 600 or so. I'm currently going through all of them and I know a lot of you are just dying to see some of them, especially the Fusion Dance. I will have them processed and posted very soon!

I also pretty much got everybody's signature I could towards the end of the event on a red dinosaur birthday card. A red dinosaur birthday card that will be worth 10,000 dollars on Ebay! BWA HAHAHAHAHA! I'm j/k, I'm not going to sell it. I will scan the card and post it as well so everyone can see.

Alright, now for individual shout outs. I know I'm probably not going to remember everybody I faced/met, and if I do forget anybody, please find it in your heart to forgive me! Here we go!

Ken - Wow a week full of stress and no sleep and he still takes first overall in singles! Truely amazing, you really are great! You've got that natural smasher blood going for ya or something, it's like you have natural talent for this game. You're a really nice guy and were really cool to talk to. I also like how you are humble and everything about how good you are. Thank you so much for all you and your family sacrificed to make this tournament a success! Thank you so much for housing me and my Canadain cronies. I love your Bowser plushie you got from Japan, it is so cute and awesome. I have one myself I bought on Ebay. Thanks for supplying the Canadians with a tent outside and the air mattress and even a TV with smash to boot... that was so Canadian-like, hehe. Airport pickups and driving people around too... you really went through a lot. Thanks for the hard work and effort to pull this thing off. That Marth shirt you made was pretty awesome as well.

Mike - Great job keeping everyone in check that invaded your house, haha. I actually respected your being a hardass, you gotta show everyone's who's boss! You weren't scared to lay groundrules for everyone and you kept the choas under control. Good job on that and thanks for how much you went through to make everything work out. I don't know if I was able to get any smash in with you, but it was really fun playing Mortal Kombat II. I wanted a Dragon Chomp fatality win on you with Lui Kang but you would have none of it! That was an awesome Falco shirt you made as well.

Jenny - Thanks for all you went through as well. You are really nice and thanks for tring really hard to please as many people as you could, I thought you did a really good job of it. So many airport pickups / dropoffs and plus driving us to motels and around with the 15 seater vans. It was very much appreciated, thank you very much!

Helen - You also tie in to how much stress Ken's family went through to make everything work itself out. Thanks for everything you did to help out as well.

nealdt - You were awesome at running this tournament at the front desk! You were extremely organized and that tournament bracket program you made is out of this world! You're a really nice guy and thanks for everything you went through to make this tournament run as smooth as possible from all of the airport pickups you did to housing a entire houseload of smashers. Thanks for picking up Steve and I at the airport on arrival. Your efforts paid off very well

Champ - Thanks also for your part in helping out with the tournament. I just loved your Fox shirt you made!

Tavo - I think you couldn't come to the tourney because of school or something, but I think I briefly saw you at Ken's house. Too bad I didn't get to play you.

Chu Dat - You needed no introduction! You were exactly what I thought you would be like - a really cool guy and really nice too. I don't think I got to play you but those Ice Climbers are mad scary! Really respectable like with the Middle Tier domination! Great job finishing 2nd in Singles, your Ice Climbers were really fun to watch. Really like the "yayuhz", but now everyone is copying you and saying it, lol.

Arash and CAOTIC I will address you guys under "Bowser Brothers"

-----------------
Canadian Crew
-----------------

Mike - The evil leader of Team Canada. Great job finishing 33rd in Singles. Funny as always, some of the pictures you were in are just hilarious. Gimpyfish and I as double Bowser ranked the same as you and Jarrod in Teams (33rd place) and Jarrod blamed you for not doing so well and of course he would, who else would he blame, himself?

Jarrod - Big trash talking Jarrod, look what happened to you! Talking all big and tough and everything and then you don't even get past the first round of pools like me. That's what you get, lol. The other trash talking and hyping up was funny though, such as Carl being hailed as the "2nd best Falco in the world" when he arrived at Ken's house. How does it feel to be ranked in teams the same alongside two slow *** Bowsers?

Steve - Good job with you and Carl finishing pretty high in teams, and good job advancing past the first pool. I think you could have used more Zelda, because that Zelda is tricky. You're too good at the card games too Steve winning Citadel and Poker!

Carl (FalseFalco) - **** impressive performance at 0C2. 17th in Singles is just crazy. Your Falco is really insane, perhaps not quite 2nd Best Falco in the world like Jarrod hyped you up to be, but darn good. Good job in teams too, and I hope your plane tire didn't asplode on the way back to Edmonton either

Luis - You were the comic relief as always. That was so hilarious when you broke out of the sand coffin we made for you at the beach and then tripped and fell. And the best part is that it was caught on tape, lol. You were in some funny pictures too, like the Miss Cleo impersonation at the hotel room and such. The pictures are great and will be done soon.

Adam (Noobking) - Every picture I get of you, you are in some sort of hilarious pose. There are so many funny pictures you were in, wait till you see em. Great job in teams and singles, too bad I don't think I got to play you once.

Tiep (Patooty) - I don't think I got to play you at all, but your Samus is great as always. Heard you did pretty good at 0C2 as well. It was great listening to Gimpy's funny stories at the motel room.

Ryan (Cowear) - Great performance at 0C2. It's hard to believe you're only 13. You dishonourably camped out my Bowser with Fox in the friendly crew battle. SCARED of the big scary Bowser!? I wish I could have played you more, but time always screws everyone over. Cowear is such a funny alias I laugh every time I hear it.

John (Hitsugaya) - Man that Peach in insane! You did awesome at 0C2. I don't think I played you either and I would have liked to. You somehow sleep in totally unnatural positions and I'm sorry for heeling you right in the head when I was backpedaling once.

Nick (Nintensity) - Crazy insane technical Falco. Those **** freezing lazers! I totally sucked when I faced you with Marth but somehow when I switched to Bowser I did good. I don't understand it. Trust me, I bet Mike and the rest of Team Canada are just so sorry they didn't include us on the team.

Vwins - Didn't play you either, but I heard you did really good as expected you would.

chesterr - Ah you lived up to the expectation, you are one funny guy. Great job in the crew battles taking like 6-8 stock each time you were up. And great job finishing 17th overall in Singles. I think you'd give Mike a run for his money for best smasher in Canada. I have some funny pictures of you passed out on the lawn before the singles tournament started.

PKMVodka - Wow you are just crazy good with like all of the characters. You also did very well in all the events at 0C2. I enjoyed having the Bowser ditto moneymatch against you and that falling up aerial edgeguard is really effective! I gotta use up airs more! You're a pretty nice guy and you were really cool about the moneymatch. However you can't claim to be a Bowser pro if you don't main the character and are not totally addicted to the character in blind fanboyish love, it just doesn't work that way... Stop being so good with ALL the characters, lol. And thanks for wishing me a happy 3rd birthday on the dinosaur birthday card I passed around.

-------------------
Bowser Brothers
-------------------

Gimpyfish - We finally meet! We thought for a while it would never happen, but we've finally met. You are much more outgoing than I thought actually and plus you're just plain **** funny! I watched your Bowser a lot actually and I was liking what I saw. You pulled off some pretty impressive feats and upsets! I really enjoyed teaming with you going double Bowsers in Team Boozer and we did sooooo well! 33rd out of 98th for going double Bowser, that is just insane! It was really fun doing the 5 man all Bowser crew as well. You also almost advanced past your very tough pool as well playing an entire set of Bowser counter characters. I really should have played Bowser for my pool :(. We had a good Bowser moneymatch, even though Bowser dittos are just plain dirty, hehe. I need to edgeguard other Bowser's way better. I would have really enjoyed to play ya a little more and hang out with you a little more, but time only allowed so much. It was awesome meeting you and I don't think it will be the last time. Perhaps we can meet in BC or something for another Canadian tournament in Melee or even Brawl. I still don't understand your "stubert" conception, and I don't think I ever will, but somehow everyone thought that was my real name! Oh the horror! My real name is Stuart or Stu for short, just for the record! Gimpy... you're just weird in a funny way. Great Bowser ya got there and oh yeah... Boozer cute

Arash - Man you went through a lot this tournament. You looked so tired all the time, probably because you hardly slept at all. Thank you so much for all you sacrificed to make this tournament work. Thanks for all the airport pickups/dropoffs you did and driving everyone around like to the beach for instance. You're really nice and accomodating and pretty funny too. I really enjoyed moneymatching your Bowser, you have insane edgeguarding skills with that forward smash! That's something I need to work on in Bowser dittos. Your Marth killing abilities with Bowser are unbelievable. I definately want to see that footage from the 5 man crew when you just unleashed your fury, haha. Too bad we didn't get to play more, but you were really busy with the tournament and all. Absolutely insane Bowser you got there, keep up the good work. KOOPACALYPSE!

CAOTIC - Unfortunately we hardly got to play at all at the tournament due to your role in helping out at the tournament. Great job with the video recording and I know you'll do an awesome job editing everything like you always do. Great camera work! Unfortunately your housing situation fell through, and it would have been awesome to hang out at your house for a week, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. And with all the construction going on at your house with building a whole second story and all, it probably would have been very... CAOTIC!... ... Anyways, it also really sucked how you got mugged when you were so close to Ken's house and getting all your ID and money stolen. I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I was told the bad news. Amazingly enough you didn't seem to be too shaken up by it, and still managed to do lots of things without letting it ruin your trip. We still had awesome time going to beach. The best time I think I had all week was hanging out with you and Shaz all day on Friday going to Knotts Berry Farm. I really would have been disappointed giving up the rest of my year's working vacation time and going all the way to California for a week of holiday and not going to one of it's crazy amusement parks. Thanks for making that work out and all with the bus ride and your aunt driving us home. It's crazy I got to meet you twice already with you coming all the way to Australia for a year. It's been great!

Gojira - Arash's body double! If you were a foot shorter, or if Arash was a foot taller, no one would be able to tell you guys apart. It's scary how similar you too look! I loved the Bowser shirt, glad it was able to come in time! I'm going to have to get one of those myself. You were also a much better Bowser player than you led yourself to be! You were impressing a lot of people and I'd say you were right up to par with everyone else! You also served as an excellent Bowser cheerleader for Gimpy while we were competiting in teams as Team Boozer. It was awesome meeting you and I enjoyed hanging around you and everything and wish I could have done it more, but once again time only allowed so much. Great job at the tournament!

-----------
Smashers
-----------

Captain Jack - You probably won't read this, but you are soooooo good. Your DI is just incredible and you just refuse to die! You did really well through the whole tournament and were very impressive. I enjoyed the one Bowser ditto friendly I had against you. You're a really nice guy and your English is very good! It's amazing how you know three languages, Japanese, English, and French. You did really well in The Bowser Challenge as well, and it was so funny when you realized the friendly fire was not turned on! It was a privalege meeting you!

The rest of Japan - Unfortunately I didn't get to play with any of the other Japanese smashers like Hiko, Shu, etc, but you guys are just way too good! Really great performance at the 0C!

The Hawaiians - Although I was introduced to you guys (as Hawaiin #1, Hawaiin #2, Hawaiin #3 ... Hawaiin #10), I'm not completely sure who I might have played and faced. Hopefully I might have played some of you guys and I just need a memory jarring. I don't think I got to play TenYearWarranty even though I really wanted to. Thanks for coming over from the island guys.

Knight Damion - Wow you sure donated a lot to help out 0C2. Thank you so much for you donations! You were really cool to hang out with and talk to, and for a while there you were like a pseudo-Canadian hanging out with us so much, hehe. Well you're probably as close as it gets to Canada and Alberta being in Montana and all. At the Burger King, I found out too that I was colorblind to certain colors! I had a good time chatting with ya.

Isai - Awesome job taking first in teams with Captain Jack. You had the funniest facial expressions ever at the Denny's impersonating some of the Citadel cards. It was also funny as hell going to Snakes on a Plane with SKYPAL. I don't know how the heck you knew I was Canadian instantly upon meeting me, that was pretty impressive stuff. You're really nice, funny, and you kick *** in Smash Brothers, what else can I say?

Mew2King - Good job attaining 3rd place in Singles with a shirt that was inside out and backwards! You've really gotten good at Smash Brothers, but you sure work hard for it. Those chain throws are very consistant and well... cheap! Dirty dirty stuff! The thousands of hours you put into learning the frames of smash was put to good use. That Fusion Dance picture is hilarious and will be posted very soon.

Shaz - Man you are one funny guy Shaz. It was unusual hearing such a profane Australian at first, especially with the accent and all, which seems even stronger than CAO's. It sucks so bad that you and CAO got mugged, but you were pretty smart to stall the mugger's asking them questions to get a better description of them. You continued to call us Canadains "Canadans" on purpose, only because both Australia and Canada end with an A. But I'm pretty sure the DA at the end of Canada makes the "IANS" justified. I also loved the superheated trash talk between us two as well. It was fun hanging out at the beach and at Knotts, had an awesome time with ya.

Eddie - Crazy Ganondorf you got there and you are also really funny. At the Denny's sitting with Mew2King and all, you had to like pretty much help him through his meal and drink along with Shaz. Great M2K burns as well, you didn't give him a break at all, lol.

UltraLuigi - That Luigi costume the first day of 0C2 was too good! It was the living Luigi standing right before us! That was really funny stuff. I was a little concerned after you were going to be one of the last ones picked up from the venue after the first day standing pretty much alone in the dark. After Shaz and CAOTIC getting mugged, I was hoping it wouldn't happen again or something. What an odd sight it would have been though, to see a living Luigi walking along in the dark in the streets of L.A.

Doraki - I think I may have played you briefly. It's crazy how you came overseas for this thing as well. You're really good and I heard you were even jokingly threatening some after a few matches. You can threaten Shaz though, he wouldn't do much, haha.

Helios - I think I only got to play with you in a team battle, but you would have kicked my *** anyway. It's crazy you came all the way from Sweden to this thing, you brought some mad skillz along with you. I enjoyed chatting with you at the Denny's and it would have been awesome to have tried out the PAL version of smash, but I don't know if it would have worked on an NTSC TV.

MeleeMarth - Had some good friendly matches against you. It was really weird because most of the time you were like all quiet and everything and then at the motel you were like totally different and all talkative and everything. I think you advanced past your pools, great job.

T!mmy - Wow I was totally not expecting my Bowser to get raped so bad by your Kirby. I thought for sure Bowser would be able to live forever against Kirby because of high percentage DI. But that **** neutral B suck attack of Kirby's is just way too effective against a big huge fatty like Bowser. You can't get away from it at all! You like... can't block because the suck move is like a throw, you can't sidestep because it wouldn't last long enough, you can't roll because Bowser's roll is pathetically short, and you can't jump either because Bowser takes so long to get off the ground! And then when Bowser's been sucked up, you can just walk off the edge and it doesn't matter if you struggle or not, you can't get out and Kirby survives it! It's a crazy sacrificing technique, similar to DK's, except you survive it! Great Kirby stuff, very impressive!

Sastopher - Never played you but I know you have a crazy Peach and I watched your singles match against Ken and Adam. Good finish!

Derilink - Man you are so funny in your own weird way. Thank you for presenting me stuff... like the waterfall and the movie poster where the legend WON'T be untold when the movie comes out... and somehow managing to get in the way of all of my pictures and other weird stuff. And once again I am out heighted by another smasher! Me (6'4") outheightened by now two smashers! First Adam (NoobKing, 6'6") and now you (Link, 6'6"). I'm not used to have to look straight/up when I'm talking to someone. You're pretty huge.

Kevin - I don't think I remember your SKYPAL/Smash name, Balefire Boy maybe? I had a lot of really fun friendlies with you the beginning of the second day. That's a crazy Yoshi you got there!

Blair - VarietyBarrage I think, I don't think I played you but I was watching your matches and you are really good

Tori - Nice meeting you again, we had some really close and really fun friendlies on the third day there!

PC Chris - Didn't get to play you, but I kinda did I guess in the Bowser Challenge. I was watching your matches and you are just too good. That side to side picture of you and Carl (FalseFalco) at the Denny's restaurant was pretty funny.

KillaOR - **** you are just too funny. The way you entertain the crowd when everyone is watching is just so great. You've got one crazy *** Jiggypuff there. It's also really good how you are able to balance out a lot of stuff in life along with your smash skills. That's probably why you were on MTV. I think it's awesome how you're an athletic trainer and all. You're really cool and approachable too, and just way too **** funny. Keep up all the good work!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So yeah, I do pretty lengthy and long winded shoutouts, and perhaps everyone is going to see how long this is and not even read it at all! So I need to shut up now... I would just like to say that I had an absolutely amazing time and it was a privilage meeting you all. Very soon I will get the card scanned with everyone's signatures, the Mew2King Fusion Dance pictures, and the rest of my photos from the trip.

Thanks for the memories guys!
