View Full Version : Glover and Master Hand, is there a connection?

Well see, In the SSB64 opening there's a tiny hand who gets two randomly selected toys out of a toy chest that look like Nintendo characters and then they come to life. After I beat the game, I made the conclusion that the tiny hand was indeed Master Hand himself, but then xianfeng had a Glover thread and I thought, "Is that...is that Master Hand."
Here are a few ways you could look at it.
1. Master Hand has no relation to Glover, it was just a cameo of Glover
2. Vica versa of #1
3. Glover is Master Hand, the only reason why he's huge compared to the other characters is because the characters are being viewed from a little doll standpoint

stryks really just said it better than anyone. mario has gloves. does he have a connection to glover? no. I have a glove in my back pocket. is that glove a relative of master hand? no.

Glover and Master Hand are not equal. Glover has eyes while Master Hand doesn't. Down with Glover, up with Master Hand (and his brother, Crazy Hand).

Master hand ( if you paid attention) was the hand of a kid that was playing with his nintendo action figures, in SSB on the 64 the intro shows him moving various items on his desk that turn into the mushroom kingdom, and Fox and Link figures come to life.
Glover was gay.

Glover is a kick arse little magician's glove with no relatives (apart from his evil twin stitch face) and if they were related masterhand would be a copy, glover came first.

ON TOPIC: I am 100% sure that Glover will not enter SSBB, because I'm 60% sure he is obsolete. Who are ya'll going to create another dedicated thread for next? Blasternaut (Math Blaster, Reading Blaster, Math Blaster 2, etc.)? Iggy (Iggy's Wrecking Balls)? The protagonist of Starshot: Space Circus Fever? Rocket from Rocket: Robot on Wheels? Wilford Brimley's diabetes from The Adventures of Wilford Brimley's Diabetes?
My characters are not as crappy as Glover, not only because they are obscure Nintendo characters, but they are also unique and original.

Glover was gay.
I've heard many people using the word "gay" instead of "bad" as in "not good". That word "gay" is becoming extremely boring. I'd rather use "crappy" instead.

What's with all the glover hate? He's a cool guy. we went out for Coffee and hanged out at Barnes and Nobles last week.... Then uniracer came and the party got started when we went to "Snakes on A Plane"

It's a Uniracer, not just a unicycle. Didn't you watch the videos I posted in the thread? Lord_Deathborne explain to ya'll that a Uniracer is like Johnny Five from Short Circuit 1 and 2, which is a living object.
Xianfeng, you are like that person who started that rumor about Nintendo replacing the Ice Climbers and Mr. Game & Watch with Ridley, JR. Bowser, and Cel-Shaded Young Link, because people want characters that are well-known. Remember hearing about people saying "Who's Pit?" after E3 2006? If you don't believe in Wikipedia telling you that Donkey Kong JR. is not today's Donkey Kong, then do you believe that the SNES boxer from SNES Super Punch-Out!! is incorrectly billed as Little Mac in the GameCube version of Fight Night Round 2? I hope not, because that is what Wikipedia said, and I truly disagree with that. I know some of my characters will not enter, but if they did, then their Special Moves would be like the ones in their dedicated threads that I created.
