A guy said that i should never shffl a dair because i should never be doing a dair on stage. is this true? don't some sleep comboes require it? or dair to uptilt? My original question to him was whether jiggly's dair should be shffled or allowed to hit for full damage and then cancelled. Anyways i don't want to argue with him but am i missing something?

dair doesn't really combo into anything. f/b/uair are generally all better moves to toss out, as they often have followups.

i usually do dair sometimes when i am returning to the stage from the ledge and they are standing close to the ledge. I let go of the edge and use my double jump to a dair and either land behind him to spam up tilts (if one caught i would jump rest) or i would let the dair run all the way and return to the ledge as soon as it finishes. and if they caught in it and you are trying to go behind him, they usually try to di away and ends up getting hit by all the hits

No doing dair on the stage isnt that good because its hard to determine wheather you L=canceled it correctly or not. What you could do is do it oh a fox that is recovering using their ^+B and when they come back up F-smash them =3 or SH of the ledge to dair which is another good way

Dair is like a Falcon doing a Falcon punch... not very useful in singles but definitly flashy... much better in teams.

unless you do a platform captain punch >.>SS almost pulled it off in a fight. If the dude was at a lower percent...it would have been a combo woah fP combos...

The d-air is very underrated IMO.

i find it really satisfying to hop up to a platform that an opponent is on and nail them with a d-air. it's a pretty good way to make every kick connect. i also use it (though occasionally) to counter u-air attacks when i'm being intercepted from below.
