How do u catch items in the air?

how do u catch items in the air such as a bat on hrc?

Press Z to air-grab items.

Are you pressing z when you and the item are overlapping? If it's too far away from you you'll just do an ariel.

Easyer way I guess.... Airdodge then press z

And also you can air'dodge and press A.

In the ground press A.

If it's just in the air, you should be able to jump up and press Z. If it's being thrown at you, you'd have to air dodge and press A.

Yea just tap z in the air over a item kind of a waste of a topic but its cool you just got to know sometimes.
