New (?) and fastest (?) way to edge hog

I was just messing around with Fox against a level 4 Falco, and I discovered a really fast way to edge hog. I've never seen it posted before, so maybe I've discovered something.

This is how you do it:
Run towards the edge
Short hop
Reverse laser
You'll laser cancel and still have enough momentum to slide and grab the edge. It's really fast and looks cool, too.

Reverse-laser edge hog.

Anyway, it should work well with Falco too, but I think it's a bit faster and easier with Fox.

it's pretty hard though cause you have to land right near the edge. i saw a video of someone doing it though. it looked pretty cool cuz i was like "no way is he edgehogging him"
