Luigi Help

Hey people can any of you give me some tips on how I can beat Luigi's
My brother and fellow Team 8-Bit member Morb pics him and idk what offense to use..We're kind of even but I want to be able to beat him
so I would appericiate it if any of you helped me out

Just spam projectiles. Luigi doesn't have good projectiles so that is your main +

If he is wavedashing towards you, you might be able to grab him and combo him a bit with downthrow up tilt/Uair

Luigi moves via wavedashing and Link has projectiles to take up his WD space. There is no need to be offensive against Luigi, his projectile is horrid. Just hang back and make sure your rang is out there to make him stop WDs to shield and then beat him with your range and priority. Almost every move you do that isn't a jab will push Luigi back far enough to make him approach again, or put him above you for uairs. Just don't try to go air to air with that guy, he is too fast in the air with that chop.

Oh, to edgeguard just throw things at him, his -> b recovery takes a while to start up so hitting him with anything will make him lose some distance. If he is close just hop out there and either nair him or let his -> b hit you, either way will make him lose distance.

If he starts spamming his fireball, either jab it away or just crouch and let your shield take care of it. You could also just sex-kick right through them. You'll win in a game of projectiles, which will hopefully put pressure on him, causing him to be less effective against you when he is finally able to approach you.
