Uses for the crouch...

I recently watched an old video of Anden using Jiggly's crouch with great effectiveness. Against a Marth he was crouching grabs and then wavedashing into rests, crouching stand up attacks and wavedashing into rests, etc. My question is what you guys use the crouch for, besides the obvious crouch canceling. It seems like it has some hidden uses I have not thought of.

If I'm on the ground while playing Jigglypuff i always croutch cancel... unless i'm playing DK, or any other character that can grab you while you CC. So yeah; CC FTW!!

The crouch's main purpose is to dodge projectiles. Other than that, CC.
