firefox priority?

It says in one of those guides that the firefox has below average priority, but when I use ganon's wizard foot to try to spike a recovering fox, I get hit. Does the firefox have a disjointed hitbox or something?

Firefox has pretty rubbish priority. However, once it's in motion, it does beat and tie with quite a few things, do just use Dair instead of Down B and you'll be fine.

yeah, Im burned and everything as if I was normally hit by it.

edit, too bad then, down B would be pretty easy to hit with since many firefox recoveries are 45 degrees likt the down B

The ff has more priority than the wizard's foot on the air. You'll be better off with Ganon's mighty aerials.

Sometimes when I'm using Ganon, I hit with the wizard foot. And sometimes both characters get hit. And sometimes only Ganon gets hit. I think the firefox's range changes a bit while in air.
