Charmeleon is a fire type pokemon belonging to the lizard species.
He his 3'07" and weighs 42lb. He is red with a white stomach and is very muscular.
When He swings his burning tail it elevates the tempature near by, and is a sign of his mood. When he is highly excited/angered his flames can turn white/blue. It is said that if his tail goes out, it dies.

He should be in because he is the best pokemon, and a charmeleon charizard combination would rock.
He looks cool.
He is powerful.
He is one of ash's pokemon.
and he is popular.

For one, Charmeleon will NEVER be getting in SSB. Not even a cameo. he's not important enough.

As for Charizard, I do't think he will get in as a playavle character. he will definitely be a pokeball pokemon, though. We already have enough first generation pokemon, and only Meowth stands a chance from that era, but even he is unlikely. If they add a fire type, it will be Blaziken, who is requested a lot and represents the 3rd generation pokemon.

i cant find your moveset so i dont have a say. that link has some impressive images, but what would his attacks be? dont get me wrong i think he would offer some very interesting special b moves, but what would his physical a attacks be? i only say that because his polygon frame looks a great deal like yoshi and he cant be a clone. he MIGHT be good if you did it right. i have to agree that charizard would make a horrible character, but mabye a weak, quick little charmander could add something interesting to the roster

I agree with super cool. The first fire pokemon (and probably only) that should be added is Blaziken. Although the char family were always my favorite pokemon. :)

Charmeleon/Charizard has more chance of making it most other pokemon but Blaziken works much better. Blaziken is not only fire but also fighting so he makes sense to put in a fighting game and his fire moves will mix things up a bit.

I wasn't trying to flame. It's just that none of the char family have good chances for brawl. Like I said I like them but they are not the most popular pokemon out right now and smash currently has enough first gen.

Also when you talk pokemon, people sometimes immediately think of type. So when you say charmeleon, alot of people are going to instantly think "fire pokemon" and then think blaziken would be a better candidate due to the fact she is a fire and fighting type. Again, I like all the char pokemon but I don't think they will even being considered for anything more than a pokeball appearance.

i still think that charmeleon is better than charizard cuz he is faster. blaziken is that big fire dog-like thing that comes out of the pokeball now right? if so he wont do. sure he is fighting and fire, but he looks overpowering, and fans might get mad if he is downgraded. besides what could he do to move and have physical attacks? charmeleon can at least headbut, swing his tail, and use his claws. is blaziken like, bite, stomp, pwn with fire? thats not a cool character IMO. charizard and blaziken are a bad idea i think. although a temporary transformation for some ownage, mabye like when he gets exhausted after a certain percent damage. like say he got to cause 200% before he got exhausted and turned back into charmeleon. pick your attacks wisely or you wont kill ppl and change back and waste your super smash. and you designed him to cause way to much damage. a throw doing 20%+, not cool. mabye a smash attack, or slightly more powerful tilts. cuz he does only have a slightly higher than normal second jump and no third jump.

The throw is 20% "AT THE MAX!!!!!" but that's mainly when it evolves into charizard. wich it has to get 2 smash orbs for and devolves after it revieves a certain amount of damage or soimting like that. downgrade his moves? but the chance of them being so powerful are less....Oh and I originally created this on another forum and decided to share with y'all...I frogot that earlier..

Paras: good curser IF it survives the first round in a PKMN game
Charmeleon: bad pkmn.
Charizard: good FISICAL pkmn (he even beats balziken if used correctly)
Likitongue?: cool pkmn but not to be playable in brawl

I don't have a full moveset (I could make one, and I probably will in the months between now and Brawl's release), but I have what I think are some fairly good specials:

Paras

^B - Leech Life - Paras jumps through the air. If he latches onto an opponent, he sucks percent out of them. Think the Falcon Dive, except he also takes some of his percent and adds it to his opponent.
B - Spore - Paras' signature move. Hold B, and Spores will continue to cloud around Paras. since Spore has 100% Accuracy in Pokemon (as opposed to Sing's 55%), Spore has a larger range, and can also put people to sleep in the air.
>B - Leech Seed - Paras throws out several leech seeds. They attach to the opponent, and also remove Paras' percent and place it on the opponent (not much).
vB - Solar Beam - Paras charges for a moment, and then unleashes the Solar Beam.

I know two of the attacks transfer % to the opponent, but keep in mind that Paras is pretty weak otherwise. :p

And also, believe it or not, my TV happened to be on the Boomerang channel, and guess what episode is playing this very moment? That's correct, The Problem with Paras.

Can't make that kind of stuff up.
