Uair priority?

How much priority does jiggs uair have? I was recently playing in a tournament, and I was matched with a Marth. At one time in the match, he was in the air and I was on the ground, and I jumped up for a uair and he did a dair spike. I expected the Dair to hit, yet my Uair seemed to hit him instead. Is this normal, or was this just a special situation that doesnt happen that often?

Just depends on the spacing. The uair is disjointed just like sword attacks, and if the spacing and timing are right you can get through. I think it actually outranges Marth's bair, but I haven't tested it explicitly.

Pretty much Uair is broken... Priority, and Range.. But its' hitbox is in an arc above her head, so it's difficult to rape with it (sarcasm)... Unless your opponent's in the air :)

Jigs UAir has much priority as ^2 in a mthematical equation.

Hm...I should use Uair more. I dont put it in my jigs play too much. I dont really play as much anymore cause the people I play are starting to get like....Meh...Except the people I play at biweekly >.> but thats besides the point. Anyways is Uair really that awesome? Because I never got around to using it.

Uair is a great way to set up a rest combo at low %, it can also kill some very light chars at high %. I usually use it when I'm over the opponant, falling down on him + Uair is pretty thx.

I mainly use Uair to juggle an opponent when they are on a platform above me for some quick damage. Never thought of using Uair while falling, gotta try that sometime.

i use uair to juggle apponents awell. I like to use it in cobos with a Bair. and if you use it when falling it gives you a push up. Its a very usefull move if you can time it.
