Yeah I got some link mindgames here.

this I like to call the failed shot of awesomezzzz

this is when you jump off the stage airdodge back and miss the hook shot, at which point you scream "HOW DO I SHOT WEB?!?!"
the effect your oponite is stunned at your stupidity but really it was smart! because when youc ome back he'll be so distracted by your 'mistake' that you can take his stock! I've done this **** to alot of proz!

another mindgame is moaning during a match and screaming someones name like you're having sex! works all the time! especially if you're milktea!

my last and final secret is something I've been developing for sometime, you throw your controllar down and punch your oponite in the face for massive damage lolz

wow dis **** helps alot... i forgot how something so stupid can actually help your game play alot lmao....heres another good 1 Link taunt ur oponent from a distance and watch them run right into a spin attack hahaha works on technical happy ppl atleast once per match XDDD

Or better yet on #2. For the Link player that has a girlfriend/boyfriend(are there any girl link players here??) just invite her over for the tournament and she can help you with your mind games.

Actually i usually do a combo of 1 and 3 but i add a little twist. While my opponent is stunned I stealthly unplug his controller while delivering an elbow to the nose with the opposite arm. Then after i have taken 2 stocks from them while they recover from the elbow i take the other 2 while they are trying to find out why they cant shield. You MUST l-cancel the controller unplug or they will see you and you will only take 3 stock from them.

I used to consider myself a half decent smasher, until I read this. Neglecting to use option 3 has, I would assume, cost me many a match. Now that I've hopefully mastered it's application, I haven't lost a match in months. Although, I did lose my friends and thus people I play against, and the home I used to live in, but god**** will I ever be ready to throw down when some homeless guy is all "SMASH?" He won't see that **** coming.

I did add a personalized little twist. Since I play link, instead of using just a simple punch I yell "ZZZZRRRRAAATTTT" and spin both of my fists into his face. Haven't mastered incorporating the spike if the first hit is missed, but in time.

edit: Realizing after that this thread is in the Link specific forum, I guess it was pretty **** redundant to include the "Since I play Link" bit. Yeah. Tired.

Yeah it would coz CPUs just attack the instant you press a button in close range or grab you as soon as you shield. Stupid f**king AI system!

I never do any of those distraction techniques. I might give it a try one day if i'm in a heated battle against someone. "Oh f**k you **** it you lost a stock coz you didn't concentrate" **** like that.
