Tips to up my Link skillz.

My relationship with link is very on and off but i realize how much i like him so i am keeping as my numero uno. but i need to up my skills to the next level. so please give me so tips to help me by watching these vids. thnx.

Your Link needs a lot of work....................

1. More consistent L-cancels.......you did some but you shouldn't be missing so many.
2. WAY more SHFFL'd aerials and aerials in general........Link has great aerials and you never even used u-air or b-air in the 1st match but the 2nd was a bit better.
3. Don't just spam boomerang to bomb over and over on the ground.......try to get in an attack or grab while they sit in shield or after they get hit.
4. More u-throw and d-throw instead of f-throw and b-throw.....and punish much more after a grab.

Less fairing, more nairing.
SH projectiles more (Luigi has a very easy time canceling rangs and then coming at you in your lag with his tornado or a WDed smash/grab).
Fast fall more, when you were in the air you weren't fast falling most of the time. Link enjoys being near the ground.

There were some spacing issues (getting too close with the fair) but those were minor and come from experience.

try to use more the shield to up b you could have killed him more than one time with that, stop being so turtle you have to be more agressive with your projectiles to luigi you have the advantage against him hes no shiek , remember than everytime you grab luigi at 0%-15% and use down throw you cant hit him cause he have the advantage with his A in the air you can try to wavedash back and shield grab him after his A.
if you like to wavedash use wavelanding when you throw bombs or try to learn how to waveshield it really helps at your game with link.

You play way too defensively, just like I did a while back. The best advice I can give you is to keep moving with Link. Don't just sit there chucking projectiles at him. Force your opponent to deal with the projectile AND you at the same time. I noticed the Luigi picking off your bombs as you threw them, and that shows me just how predictable you are right now. You're giving way too much time for your opponent to figure out what you're doing. If you're gonna throw a projectile, might as well make us of it being out there diverting your opponent's attention. Your f-air is good, but learn to use n-air as well. It may not look as flashy, but it definitely can save your *** when Luigi's trying to sneak one while you're in the air.

Be more aggressive; there were a couple of times when you could have simply Spin Attack-ed while Luigi had missed an attack. Pounce on his mistakes, and don't let up. You can't be lazy with Link; you need to stay on top of the fight all throughout, or you'll simply be too slow to win.
