When facing a fox or falco should I use Fair, nair and bair a lot? cause i know when you forget to L cancel dair and uair your screwed... when i play a fox and falco or any charcter that is fast i dunt use dair and uair alot and also grab... is this a good playing style or should i change it? my projectile usage is ok i know when, where to thorw it.. but the physical moves iw wat i worry about.

I don't see a reason why not too, I suppose to practice L-canceling them, so that you don't have to give up good moves like those. All I can say, really.

nairs are good for all around, except when the're at low %, and I find spamming bairs to work well. fairs are well....select moves.

If you can land a grab (or an uptilt, or downsmash) then you can easily combo them. Nair, bair and fair are better at higher %s against the space animals because at low damages they can easily be CCed and even if not CCed, the space animals recovery quickly from those moves.

Don't make wild grabs, but still grab, one grab = massive damage on them (and a finisher). The uair is one of your best friends in this matchup, as is the dair. The uair can juggle fox and falco if you shffl it under them at around 30% (even if they DI you can follow them, occasionally with other moves though). If you get a throw at about 80 or 90 against fox or falco just upthrow to dair, if they don't DI correctly they die (sometimes they do anyways) and if they do DI correctly it usually sends them off the edge.

If you're not at a point where you can l-cancel 100% of the time, you would have no chance against a good Fox or Falco player in the first place. You can't not use his uair and dair, cause they both have excellent knockback. Work on l-cancelling perfectly until you don't have to worry about it, so you can use whatever move fits the situation best without worrying about the lag.

To my experience, spotdodging really doesn't work too well against Fox/Falco. Their dashes and aerials last too long to effectively dodge, and most Foxes/Falco's L-cancel their aerials to go straight to another attack (i.e. shine), so dodging their aerials is ineffective.

The only times where I've spotdodged their attacks are dodging their dash-grabs and people dumb enough to use Fox/Falco Illusion and Fire Fox/Bird on you. I find shield grabbing a little more effective.

SHFFL-ing your aerial attacks will work well with this battle. It's not like you're fighting Marth, where SHFFL-ing as an approach can get you killed. But, like a lot of ppl already said, watch out for CC and SHFFL-ing at low damage. I'd be more worried about their shines, honestly.

the tip to fighting fox or falco, is using your sheild (regular bubble shield, but his hylian shield comes in handy too). Fox and falco are close-range fighters, so try to keep your distance...a bit. When they do get up close, just use nairs, d smashes, or up +b until they keep thier distance again.

well the problem is when i hit them with dair link move a litle which screws up my l cancel. and i think i should dash dance more often and the other midgame thingy... thnx guys. and i learned my lesson with spot dodging, dont spot dodge the Fsmash or falxo and fox! lol thnx guys..

EDIT: i also need combos :( cause when i grab i alway down thorw (floties) then up throw ( ffallers) but i only got like 2 kinds of combo for each, anywayz lol thnx guys

shffling straight out of your shield is a good idea.

^^ yes, listen to this guy. Also try doing Link's Up Smash right out of his Sheild.

So, this thread is about Fairs, right? I don't see why not to use it much vs Space Animals. I love doing Fair to uptilt at med damages. It's a a setup for a free juggle.

i like SH fair for a sort of mind game edge guard, i let them come back up and once they climb the ledge start a short hop and fair them just as the invincibility runs out, usually works if i time it right. the first swing will hit and so itll knock them out, then the ground will cancel the second one.
