Link Down Tilt/ Jab Grab

Is the down till good to use during combos? cause i find it hard (Space animals) to use, link takes forever to slash.. But anywayz can you give me some combo using down tilt or adviced.

i mean, i obviously like dsmash a lot better especially aginst the bird and the fox, but thats just me. i used to use dtilt A LOT...its pretty good when cced to a nair to dsmash again at low percents.....its just fox's cced dtilt is much better.

what ive just discovered is the sexiness of :

<_< Down tilt is really situational, if they don't see it comming its pretty good. other then that Iwouldn't use it alot <_<

Downtilt is too slow to use on anybody...except maybe somebody trying to sweetspot the ledge. It pops whoever you hit up for an ariel to send them back out, but Link has better options for edgeguarding.

Jab grabs don't really work on space animals, they fall too fast so they can react sooner to the jab.

its wierd, i almost never use dsmash, i mean i know its pretty good, but i think the lag on it is just too long when playing against anyone strong in the air. i dunno, but when playing against my fox friend, its like any time i duck hes up in the air so i can never dsmash him, maybe i just need practice with it.

lol i used to have the smae problem my friend (fox) he is always in the air but when he is commin down BE STRONG!!!! use uptilt
