What do you hate about Sheik? Besides tilts and fair. Be specific.. like "gee, the way so and so uses needles is a total bother to me, etc."

Well, how about I make a list of Shiek things I don't hate....

Sheik's f and u smash
Shiek's falling speed (happens to be easy to combo at low-mid %s)
Shiek's chain
Shiek's dair
The lag of Shiek's up B (free dair/combo)

That's it, everything else about Shiek pretty much leads to a fair or combo (even the dair can lead to combos, but it's so slow to start).

Link is a Sheik counter...all of you guys are noobs. Link has projectiles, he can perform numerous great combos on Sheik, he has the bomb jump, and he has the best grab in the game. Link would be top tier if people just knew how to use him.



.........and to think that 90% of the Link forum history is basically what I just posted. >.>

Link counters everyone, only in certain hands, anyway, Link has strong points against sheik, but sheik has jsut as many and has them fast.

Things I hate about sheik

Chainthrow.. thats about all. other than that sheiks not so horrible.

lol, play a any good Sheik player. Chain throw isn't the only thing. (tilt combos, jab cancel setups, down throw setups, needle grab, needle spam, aerials, etc.) Sheik can easily win without chain grabbing.

Her chainugrabs
her quickass jab that leads into anything
her tilts that combo you to hell and back
her fair
her uair
har nair edgeguarding
her needles
her speed
her wierd movements that can make her hard to hit
the fact that link is sheik's *****
the fact that her CC goes really low
the fcat that she has no problem killing link
the fact that link has nothing on sheik aside from a better recovery and a sword with range that becomes useless when for sheik players in most matches the "Z" button becomes the "instant win" button
the fact that she kills at ridiculous percents
the grunts
the taunt
the fact that link is fat and when he gets hit once he dies from a combo
her edgeguarding
needle cancels
the fact that you actually think link has a chance against sheik

specific enough?

No, but good try. I'm looking for situational specifics, not generic gripes. Eh, it doesn't matter, I kind of have an idea on what irks most link players now anyway. Also:

Depends on the players. Link has a great chance on Sheik if the Link is Azen and the Sheik is a first time player. That was kind of uncalled for.

its assumed when you talk about match ups that the players are of equal skill

situational specifics? you cant. Sheik has too many things on Link for someone to say "these situationally specific things bother me because sheik obviously has like no afvantages on link"

everything about sheik bothers link players.

Yeah I get you. Oh well. But Falco can rape quite a few people, and I can say I hate laser spams no matter what character I am, you know? But whatever, I understand how it'd be difficult in this case.

I wouldn't go insulting other people's intelligence when you can't spell genius and/or make proper use of commas, punctuation, etc. I guess that's just me.
