i would love to see revolver ocelot. hands down the coolest character from metal gear solid. what do you guys think?

Sakurai said no guns, and since they are IN his name it's impossible. Plus they are limited on 3rd party character placement, so I doubt they would use another character from the MG/MGS franchise.

i know, it's "impossible", but that's what i thought about metaknight, so i cried tears of joy when i saw the trailer.

yes, it is a LONG LONG LOOOOONG SHOT, and may be it is impossible, but wouldn't it be cool?

Megaman for one and Sonic is popular aswell. Not to mention Geno who has a cult following.

megaman and geno would both be amazing if you ask me... i'm still on the fence about sonic though. I'm just saying i think revolver ocelot might be one of the coolest villains of all time, and hey, maybe he wouldn't make a good character in brawl, but it would sure as hell make my day if he was in it.

Have you played MGS2 if not this is your spoiler alert.
He technically isn't a villian in MGS2 he was revealed to be one of the patriots right before Liquid who was living in his arm took control of his body.

So I guess that's why they used the super cope insteald of the zapper light gun as an item in Melee? Don't be foolish; there won't be anymore Metal Gear characters, yes, but it has absolutley nothing to do with having the name of a weapon in his name. Nadda. Zilch. Nobody's going to go up in arms wailing that a character's name in a game which is probably going to be T rated anyway has the name of a gun in their name.

i have indeed played MGS2, and i thought *SPOILERS*
when he WAS in control of his body, he was the man. like in the beginning when he kills gerlukovich, that was awesome. and he was cool in MGS and TTS. and MGS3. his cut scenes are always the greatest.

But anyway, I have to agree with the point made several times before. As awesome as Ocelot would be, 3rd party space is very limited and they aren't gonna pull two characters from the same franchise if they can help it.

i said they should put revolver ocelot from metal gear solid in ssbb. pretty much no way it's gonna happen, but he's an awesome character and some of my friends and I would love to see him in the game.

Okay flaco here is the basic of it. The maker of this thread wants Revolver Ocelot one of Snakes' rivals from the Metal Gear Solid series to be in Brawl which would make him a third party charcter just like Snake is. The main argument against this is that third party space is limited and the people here feel there are better choices than Ocelot.

yeah i see where you're coming from... third party space IS limited... and i understand the chance of seeing him is miniscule, which is why i back characters with a better chance of getting in. so yeah, i can dig that. just saying he's one of my favorite characters in video games and seeing snake in brawl without him might be kind of bland. but still, respect mon.
