Characters, old and new

Although theres tons of people who dont like certain characters such as the clones and also there are numerous who hate ness and iceclimbers, I dont see any reason for any character to be discluded from the new smash game. ANY character can be good in the right hands (me loving ness) and clones only having non original movesets which could easily be updated and changed just like what they did with luigi in melee. Because there are already 30+ characters and obviously gonna be more, I'm assuming that every character had at least a few fans and should therefore be left in the game. Just because you don't like a character doesn't mean they shouldn't appear in the next game. I personnally enjoy using all the characters, including game and watch, and all should be in Brawl. As for the new characters, I'll be happy with any choices nintendo decides upon, I'd like to see at the least Geno and of course tons of villians, which are considerably absent in both smashes. Altogether the choices for the next smash are going to no matter be GRAND!!!:) :) :) What say all of you?

There aren't 30, there are 9. Some characters should be removed beacuse they are filler. Nothing special, just characters there to make the selection seem larger.

THEY'RE NOT TAKING AWAY THE ICE CLIMBERS.

This is a stupid online rumor that people keep perpetuating. The ONLY thing we know about the characters for Brawl is that they include Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Pit, Metaknight, Zamus (Zero-Suit Samus), Snake, and Wario. We know NOTHING else, including who has been cut.

We do, however, know that at LEAST 1 character will be cut, and that came from the mouth of Sakurai (the director) himself. So, not all of Melee's characters will be returning, but right now, we do not know who has been cut.
