I had a lot of trouble playing against Sheik lately, mostly (I think) due to being forced to approach. Basically the Sheik would threaten me with needles, and I had no good way to approach. Air approaches typically countered with Sheik's F-air, and ground approaches F-tilt to F-air.

Is it just me or is this a common problem?

Hmm I would suggest some air dancing followed by merciless pound attempts.

Yes! Flood the b**** with pounds! Also, sh b-air to air retreat. Purin has incredible aerial mobility. You can jump towards them, b-air, and retreat from them at a sharp angle. Spam this like you only have two moves. Plus, if he's at a distance and trying to spam needles, CROUCH!

Jiggly does have many disadvantageswith Shiek, but I find that she is quite easy to combo. Best way to approach would prolly be with pounds as well as aiming for the head with Bairs/Fairs/Nairs. Aiming for the head will allow you to avoid grabs and needles, but you still gotta watch out for Shieks aerials.
Be patient and be a little more defensive, especially with crouches.
