Are there any smashers who live in this area? Also, are there any tournaments that will be held in one of those cities? I can go to them, but no further than Harlingen.

I play a decent Marth, but my main strength is Game & Watch. I can't quite SHFF, but I can SH and WD. I am fairly good, considering the fact that I haven't entered any tournaments, but I'm an above-average G&W. Maybe I'll do okay in a tournament if one is ever held in brownsville, harlingen, or los fresnos.

Thanks. I hope that I will eventually get to go to a tournament. I probably won't do too well, but that's okay.
ugh, we've been trough this before. Capt blue, i spoke to you before a while back and you asked the same question. I remember informing you of a smash community and tournies in the valley. The valley crew alone has around 20 members/associates who travel all around the valley for tournies. Unfortunately, most of the tournies are held in the hidalgo county area. Unless you can travel out of your area to come to us and play us, you'll not advance in skill as quickly as just playing your friends or level 9's. I believe there will be a monthly set up soon in harlingen, try to make it out to that one.

Sorry Gobz, I guess I forgot about it. Not having access to a laptop for a summer makes you forget stuff. Anyway, a harlingen meet? I can make it, provided it's on a weekend. What's the entry price?
