desynching!

ok ive been playing ice climbers for about a week now and i still dont understand desynching! and before anyone tells me 2 read the guide, i already did.i didnt understand it 2 well but im gonna read it again a little slower.anyway i can desynch in grab combos but only in grab combos.can anyone tell me a easy way to do this without grabs and a better explanation of what it means.

Alright first to post here! Ok Desynch is what you do to separate the IC and kinda control both of them and make them do different things: (EX: My sissy is doing blizzard and I do solo squall) there r many ways to desynch I'll name a few.

Sidestep-Grab-Rolling-Solo Squall-Dash Dance-Edge-Taunt

U can also desynch from a jump by hitting a ice block right b4 u hit the ground, out of a shield by using upb then using a ariel,(cant spell, sryz), and even from the ledge by pressing up to make popo get up while nana can do anything (only works when nana is on stage). You can desynch from almost anything really. But yea as dynamic said desynching is basicly making yur ice climbers do 2 diffrent things at once. It adds a nice strategy.

It's really just all about timing. You need to find out for yourself when you can input commands so that only one IC does it.

Roll and hold B. Popo and Nana should shoot staggered ice blocks. This is the simplest example of a desynch.

Roll and hold B, and while Popo is shooting the first block, have Nana do something else (D-Smash, Blizzard, etc.)

Once you get the timing down you can have Nana do a separate attack without Popo making an unnecessary move:

Roll, then push D-B just as they finish. Nana should be the only one who does a Blizzard. If both IC's do a Blizzard, then you pushed D-B too late. If neither does it, then you pushed too early.

Now go back to the guide and see if it makes more sense.

thanks for the help every one i read the guid a little slower and right in th beginning it says the best way 2 do it is side dodge hmm i must of read it 2 fast the first time.well i understan a little better and im off 2 try and make ice climbers my 4th best to 2nd cuz fox pwns every character in the game and i know him inside out,but now ill do the same with ic ane again thanks to the only three smashers that helped.
