How do you do your double shine?

You know, when you shine and shine again before you leave the ground. I've heard that some people use the same method they use for SHDL. Which method do you use?

the way i do it is i shine, then i use the top part of my thumb to press Y, and i use the middle part of my thumb to press B again. I don't slide or raise my thumb during my double-shines. Although when I attempt to do more then 2 shines i use the shdl method.

I slide for all doubleshines, it really is the best method, that is sliding from y to b.

For falco tho the stick might be better for some people because his doubleshines are weird.

I use the stick for Fox and Falco. I wouldn't recommend it though; it wears out the controller really fast.

when more than two, i slide from the left side of Y across the left side of A to B. when only two, i got up n down on the stick

After a shine, I lean my thumb toward Y and then brush past B really fast again. I jump with X but it doesn't feel weird pressing Y since I only use it for doubleshining. Anything over a doubleshine, imo, is excessive.

Yeah, I use X too.

I guess I just didn't feel like using the control stick or Y.
