1. Do you use it?
2. Is it banned in tourny's ?
3. Do people see it as an infinite?

Hang on a ledge > Press Down > Jump > Sing > It would auto grab the ledge > repeat

3. no, because it doesn't do any damge, it would only be used as a stalling techinique which is banned.


and it's not funnny to pull off on your friends, because when they see it coming they will pwn you and then they will think it's funny.



P.S. don't use it too much or you'll lose every match. unless your opponents are retarded and they don't pick up on it.



EDIT: trust me don't use it. I've tried it before and 9 times out of 10 you'll eat a smash attack or dtilt.

Same with Nova. I use it at random. It is once in a match I use the Sing Stall I don't wanna get hurt real bad neither do you.

There's only one time where it can be usefull, imo. Lightshield edgeguard a marth, if he wasn't low enough and is able to get back on the ledge, you will fall on the ledge and be able to do a cencel'd sing.

If a marth was outside of the stage, he must be at high%, so you can just jump back up for a bair or bthrow. Other than that, it's not that usefull.

i never use sing stall cuz my little bro plays doc... he capes me then i miss the edge, or if im at high damage i get fsmashed to the face

It doesn't matter if he capes you, because you can grab in either direction. This leads me to another tech I just discovered recently. Run the edge, and as you're falling off, B-up, and you should instantly grab the stage. This is like Yoshi's instant edgehog, but harder, because you don't slide during it; you have to actually do it in the first few frames of air time.

Is running into a sing cancelled ledge stall only for ledge hogging, or are you trying to actually put someone to sleep during it? When you mention yoshi I take it your using it to hog the ledge so the opponent can't grab it right?

LCS'ing doesn't automatically legde hog. I really only use it to bait opponents into attacking, or to keep them away from the ledge. It's also an affective taunt (but that's just me). And yes, you can put someone to sleep with it, but it's not very applicable...

The sing ledge-cancels during the entire duration of the attack, as long as either of your grab-reach-boxes are touching any part of the ledge.
