Help!!!!

I just got back to the states from Ireland and bought a computer and this is the first time ive ever heard that they are making a new smash brothers well you could imagine my excitement" not that drinking insane amounts of beer being in my first bar fight and hanging out with liniage of mine with possibly the coolest accent ever wasent exciting" but i know nothing about this new ssb so if anybody could give me a list of characters an mabey some new moves i would greatly appreciate it "veritas!"

As for the new SSB, its going to be called Super Smash Bros. Brawl by the way. Here is what we know about it, and what you should know about it.

Video 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3GynRG0FoU). This is the first Brawl video we got. Most of it is cinematic and there is little acual gameplay in it, how ever they introduce quite a few new characters. I won't spoil anything for you right now. Watch it before reading on.

Video 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbLbuYS_6uA). Here is the second and latest video so far. This one contains gameplay. Our first looks at some of the characters' moves are here, as well as Nintendo's confirmation of an additional returning character at the end ^_^. Again, I won't spoil anything from this video now, so watch it before reading on.

This (http://www.smashbros.com/en/main.html) is the official Brawl site. Notice how it says Smash Bros DOJO at the top. It's not 100% clear as to why, but the most widely accepted explination is that it will be called Brawl in America and Dojo in Japan, due to the literal translation not making much sence. There acually isn't much on the site, but theres news and stuff there, which could be interesting to read.

I know all this probably brought up some questions, so I'll try to answer the ones I anticipate, but couldn't answer up there without spoiling the videos for you.

First of all, those "super" moves in the first video? Yea, nothing really has been officially anounced on them. Speculation so far leads people to believe it will be an item that causes them (you can see Mario grab some kind of token right before he sets it off. Item perhaps?), but nothing is known 100%. I also remember awhile back something about "Wario's gas building up over time", but I'm not entirely sure about that. We all just hope we can turn them on and off in options ^_^

Second, Zero-Suit Samus (or Zamus for short). Nintendo has released something along the lines of: Samus will lose her power suit and become Zamus under "specific circumstances". Zamus will not be a selectable character, it seems, a little bit like Sheik was in Melee (except you could switch at any time. It looks like you'll have to work a bit to play as Zamus).

Solid Snake. Yes! Solid Snake is a third party character, and he's in Brawl! The first ever. Nintendo has hinted at additional third party characters beeing in Brawl, but they also said they want the game to remain mainly Nintendo characters. Many believe this gives good odds for Sonic and/or Tails to be in Brawl.

Take a loot at the screenshots at IGN's Brawl Page (http://media.wii.ign.com/media/748/748545/imgs_1.html). The videos there are the same ones you just saw, so don't bother. News and updates are slow for Brawl, so all we can do now is wait and don't explode :laugh:
