Do you guys want a $1 tournament, or go all out with a $5 one?


Also, I DO NOT HAVE A GAMECUBE at the moment, so I'll need someone to provide a gamecube, and several other persons to bring a TV/Gamecube set. Let's not have 12-20 people all trying to play smash on one or two TVs. So it would be great if you confirmed in this thread to bring a TV/Gamecube.

Have a Cube, possibly two as the last two times. TV... mine is a bit to large for transport. not to mention in a horrible place for moving it.

However, I will see about that, given this is going to happen.

Oh, if you could provide an update of some sort on how many TV's/Cubes people are bringing, that'd help. I can bring one cube for sure, though.

Free money? Good sir, I've been hosting smash tournaments for over a year now and I've never made a profit (nor have I ever intended to) on a single one of them. Well, unless you count the one at falco4life's house, but I wasn't planning on hosting it.

Looks like the votes are unanimous, so $1 it is. And sunday is no good for me, it's pretty much the only day of the week when I have something going on.

And falco4life, you can come then IF you bring one of your tvs and a gamecube. Are you bringing your friends? How do you intend on getting home?

Well this will probably be more smashfest than tournament, but the tournament will probably end around 6 or 7, and hopefully friendlies afterward.

well if ur gonna just keep playing afterwards u dont have to delay the tourny then i can just show up later on... unless u need that tv either way my test is from 12-2 i'll prly finish earlier than 2 then i'll pick up stuff and head over there should take 45min-1hr to get there

Yea, I think but im not sure that we can come. I can maybe bring Excludeing Me and Nova, about 4 maybe more. But They'll want a better reason to drive all the way out to dallas other to play smash. Do you guys think you can up to 2 or 3 dollars ? We normally do 5 at ours. Not that the reason of winning, but we have to pay for gas.

I'll tell you what, since you aren't positive you can make, we'll raise it to 5 if you end up showing. If you can't make it, we'll keep it at 1. (I find 2 and 3 dollar entries don't really work since nobody has that many ones). I'd like to play Waco since I kind of skipped out on them last week.

Right now it looks like we'll have about as many tvs as cubes, so your cube might not be used unless you brought a tv along with it.
