Fox Issue: Jab to ____?

I'm an experienced fox player ... ( dont go by my videos ) and I find myself getting punished for Jabs. The real issue is, I dont know WHAT to do after these jabs. I often can Dash to JC'ed grabs and those work very well.. but i'm looking for another RELIABLE alternative to the jc'ed grab. Does a SH Nair work from jab? Shine ? Whenever my opponent quickly Jabs after my Jab it really messes me up.

Question: JAB to _____ ?

I'm just looking for any quick tips or advice in the matter. Thanks.

that jab dash away dash back grab is really effective > ROFL

my issues is once i'm inturrupted... which movement has the least pullout framerate ? I realize that all of those work in certain circumstances., but my issue is continuing past a jab if my opponent is jabbing.

Least pullout framerate? Shine. If you're being interrupted after jabbing, you could:
Jab > Shine
Jab > crouch-canceled DTilt

I agree the crouch canceled D-Tilt is very effective and if you are being knocked back a bit and end up out of their jab range go for a F-Tilt

Mow, dont deny it, you are more like full hop nair, shinespike. We actually named that after you here in Pitts.

I have a lot of stuff I do specifically. I edgeguard with shine bair from the edge. I do full jump nair to shinespike. I run up and shield in someone's face and wait for an attack or sidestep and upsmash them out of shield a lot. I combo in and out of downtilt a lot. I like to rapid A fox and falco @ the edge so the only way out is to DI off the stage. I like to walk instead of run, and I get the Beserker bonus ever_single_match.

Jab > JC Grab
Jab > Shine
Jab > Waveshine (this one's great)
Jab > Utilt
Jab > UpSmash (only at a % where your opponent experiences significant knockback)
Jab > CC Dtilt (don't use this against female characters)
Jab > Straight > Shine
Jab > WD back > Aerial
Jab > WD back > WD forward > JC Grab/Jab/Tilt
Jab > Shieldgrab

at %'s about 40-60 on medium weight characters you can use the jab most effectively, I've found.

Lots of these have been mentioned, but I feel that this is a good compilation.

I've seen Brookman wavejab before. It's just jab -> wd -> jab -> wd repeat, with horrible DI it works great. And it's funny.

it was just shine - shl -fasatfall - shine repeat. Mofo showed that to us a while ago.



I, recenly, have started counter jabbing when people jab me, it's great. Really flusters some people.

i would do jab to dtilt.

jabs will cancel out any grabs they try to do, but if they hit you after you can usually CC it and counter with dtilt.

whats the first thing you do after you get counter-jabbed? I try jabbing back again but it ends in trouble, so now i just try jumping out of it..

Jab to mindgames -.- run and wavedash through them, and utilt perhaps? whatever. Predict and punish.
