I am one of the people who constantly play Smash on the TV.
I am a second year in BIE Animation, and I did Dip Screen before that. I don't really mix with the people at the TV much though, but I do frequent the break out room from time to time. My name is Chris Yearn, if that helps at all, if you've done any animation units you probably have seen some of my stuff.

I play exactly the same in friendlies as I do in Tournaments there isn't anything wrong with it. When I play friendlies I play lots of different characters unlike Zac who only ever plays Fox, Sheik and Marth.

Zac you have no right to say anyone takes this game to seriously. I couldn't care less if I lose or win. I just enjoy playing the game. Unlike some people. Who throw controllers across a room when they lose. I have a lot better things to be worried about than smash. I am not so insecure that the only thing I define myself by is a video game. I have a girlfriend, I did well at school, I do well at uni, I have lots of friends unlike you Zac who seems so invested in the game because you have nothing else that you are good at or that you can be proud of. Tell me I take the game to seriously again and I will give you more reasons why you are weak and insecure.

If you want some advice, this is all I can give you, which goes for pretty much everyone: You don't dash-dance and wait for the other person to make a mistake, which is what I see a lot of pros doing (well, in the older videos, but still), as well as you, as you said yourself, don't move fast enough. Maybe your fingers lock up on you, I can't help that, lol, but I see you stand still quite a lot, and then Ben, or whoever, just like... hits you. And I think you didn't L-cancel that much, or maybe I just watched you at the times when you missed it, and I saw you miss a lot of shield-grabs. When you shield you usually jump out of it and do an aerial, I think, instead of grabbing, and in the time that you do your aerial the other person's usually blocking and then they shield-grab you instead.
I don't think you dash-attack either. XD Dash-attacks are awesome. =] That's about all I can say from what I remember when I played you, but more when I saw you and Ben play. I think I got owned by your Ganon, though. <_<;; K. =]

I agree with Ben, in the fact that I try just as hard in friendlies as I do in tournaments, although I've only really been to two tournaments. I'd actually say I do better in friendlies because there's no pressure on me, and I suck under pressure, really.
Which is what you saw when me and Aaron went in the Crew Battle, I was just like: "... Oh god. XD"
