Heard a rumor on a facebook smash group about some possible character changes. Went surfing through the web, and found these sites.

In it, it states that Sakurai confirms the addition of:

1) RIDLEY
2)"Celda" (Cel shaded version of Link I would imagine)
3) Bowser Junior

Along with the removal of:

1) IC's
2) G&W
3) Young Link

It also announced the rster to be 40 deep, with the "inclusion of 1-2 *MORE* non-nintendo characters.

As a bit of a side note, "Nintendo Japan is hosting a survey, asking which characters you’d like to see included in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii Game" (taken from this site--http://www.nwiizone.com/nintendo-wii/nwii/help-nintendo-to-choose-new-characters-for-super-smash-bros-brawl/) I don't know if this is an informal, non-important survey- or if it will actually be taken into consideration.

All this may/may not be a rumor- some sites say it is, some don't, but- I thought it worth posting.

*I* very seldom come to the character discussion board- so I wouldn't know. I was just perusing, and found it. So therefore, I wouldn't know. and before you say "Search", I just wanna say, the search function returns about as pertinent results as hotbot.com.
Por ejemplo: Search for Bowser Junior and you get ONE, ONE thread concerning something pertaining to it- which was posted 6 months ago. While you may say "If it wasnt true then, it isn't now" which may very well may be- but, theres been several times on many games where something 'wasnt true' in development and turned up to be true. (Online GT4, I believe- in that case vice versa)

Even if the Search results show up dud, you can always look at the date the Digg article was submitted (184 days ago) or you can read the comments in the Digg article (as they point out it's fake as well). Also note that any shred of Brawl news is posted here almost immediately after it hits the internet...An announcement about three new characters would be pretty hard to miss, and you can assume that if some piece of information is over a week old (especially 184 days old), that it's already on here and that most people that are up-to-date with Brawl know :)
