Unorthodox Fox ragin' like small pox

Sometimes when I d-air into a shield, I L-Cancel into a Firefox. It rapes their sheild unless they let themselves get hit, and you can just use the movement part to avoid a counterattack.

JC shines that are too fast and unpredictable. You can keep doing it for as long as you want. What's even better is going into waveshine from the JC shines.

Dash -> Jump -> Firefox. Makes you hover in one direction while firefox charges up, then hit the ground with it and kill kill kill.

Utilt -> Utilt -> Jab -> Grab -> Uthrow -> Uair

not against anyone thats decent at the game. just grab like Ijuka said, or utilt/dtilt depending on where they are if they are slightly behind you do a utilt, if they are in front of you do a dtilt, either way, they are getting popped up for further x rated combo action. yea, learn jump cancelled shines too, they are pretty sweet as you can do a sh!t ton of them in a very short time. and utilize the bair man, i dont see enough of it and it's such a good move.

I like running and shining off the edge while turning around in the shine, then bairing ^^/. Catches people who like to aerial dodge or have slow reactions.

It works if they are expecting a shine to follow the dair, so they stay in their shield. Anyway, those alternate moves are more useful, but where I play its kind of crowded so I try to play flashier than normal to entertain the people who are watching at the time. (I really don't mean to sound arrogant, I'm not good at this game at all)

Here's something that I don't think is used by too many people, it may be new to some. When on the ledge, drop down and shine, turn around in shine, then come back up onto the stage with a b-air. So basically you're ledgehopping, but you can come up backwards with a b-air. And the stall from shining after dropping from the ledge can mess up the edgeguarder. Practice so that you drop and shine at the point where a second jump will be just enough to get you onto the edge.

A couple other things that I don't think very many people have incorporated into their style are the Thunders Combo and light-shield edge guarding.

Everytime you jump for the ledge while recovering and they aren't on to this, you should up sweetspot the ledge so you don't go over it or have to use one of your bad recoveries. If you don't do it so you grab on instantly though there can be trouble. This can get them to get an attack out trying to hit you, now you can punish them from the ledge. Don't actually do this everytime unless you can sweetspot perfectly or if they're dumb and cannot catch on.

Well,he asked for an"Unorthodox" Method,and that is what he recieved,he never said that it had to exist,and i'm only lightening the mood.C'mon,quit taking me cereal.=P

But to be cereal(lol),I don't know any of any unorthodox methods but when i Shine my opponent i usually do a SHFFLC Uair on my opponent,and then repeat Uairs.I don't know if this helps,but it is unorthodox(Atleast i think it is)

Ehh...At high damages i often pause after grabbing my opponent, and wait for a moment to sort of mind game their DI; I'm sure theres a bunch of people people who do this too, but i didn't see it mentioned so try it out.

Also, when you've gotten them above you, do quite a bit of circle jumping and other wavedashy crap and just teleport under them. I believe Fox is fast enough to render his opponents DI useless if you can be accurate.
