I was wondering if this was due to a bad DI or is it possible to use in certain situations against fast fallers?

Bad DI definitely. Good or even DI will make you escape.

so this would be a no no against a fast faller. Back throw is quick enough to catch your opponent off guard so would it be plausable in some situations though?

ugh you just edgeguarded him with rest
its like saying 'fsmash to rest' for knocking opponent off the stage with fsmash then edgeguarding with rest
he could have avoided it with a quick fastfall or later double jump, or diffrent di i guess

Yea, It was both DI and it was also the fact that c. falcon used his up b move which kept him in place for just enough time to get rested. If C. falcon didn't press up b until later, the turnout might've been different.

He just rested someone who wasnt expecting to get rested while in his UpB. I mean who the **** rests off the stage, it was only cuz the guy was up a stock and it was the falcons last stock.

Its not a combo, obviously, cuz falcon started his upB, showing that falcon could have done a series of things like jump, down b, or what have you. It was flashy and stupid, really not much to brag about.

I was not bragging the rest of it was just for a joke with the denver smashers. I know it was flashy that is why i did it. It is funny though when king rest someone off stage you call him uber but when i do it you just say i am a dummy. Or maybe you call the 13th ranked player in the U.S. a dummy for doing this too.

no it's just pointless to do unless your adding insult to injury. good for you that you did it but its not very impressive when you do it against someone who didn't di at all. it's obvious you did it b/c you were a stock up. in those situations wop has a higher rate of sucess. it's not hate on you buddy, its just you haven't done anything that we haven't seen and plus you asked for opinions.
