Bombs.

I've read the posts on this board concerning bombs, yet I am still having problems.

Dropping bombs: I've read that you press Z to drop a bomb without it exploding. I try this, yet it explodes each time I do it. Am I doing something wrong?

ALso, I've seen a video on youtube where a guy takes bombs, throws them up and then does the sword spin and it explodes, thus giving him another opportunity to spin again and take another bomb out and continue this until he returns to the stage. I'm wondering if anyone else can do this, and how to do this. I can't get the bomb to explode when I hit it, as it just bounces off. The video was called Linkology, by the way.

I guess you're talking about bomb setting. In order for the bomb to be dropped on the ground without it exploding, you have to drop it when you're just about to land. It's easier to set a bomb if do a short hop backwards.

I think the most important part of performing the bomb jump with Link, is timing. Also, you have to position Link so that when you hit the bomb with his upB, the bomb should be just behind his head.

If you get knocked around alot the bomb occasionlly falls out of your hands....
