Yeah not only that i think a good game stays a good game even if a sequal comes out. Look at starcraft many players are considering not chaning to sc2 just because starcraft is such a huge game in the gaming society. Brawl will just be another game but melee will live on for awhile

Agreed. Same thing is true with street fighter. ST may be 15 years old but it's still a main event game at EVO, hell, it's why evo exists. Melee will live on, especially since the speed on brawl looks to be slower a la the original smash. Only time will tell.

Personally im trying to change my play style to a technical peach cause of the new pillaring technique with peach.

That would contrast nicely with my tech-skill inept Peach, although I'm interested to hear about this pillaring you speak of.

BS mainly because they wouldnt know, it certainly possible, but sakurai's not that stupid, I believe hes looked at the professional scene and knows marths important.

why would it be bs? Fire Emblem doesn't have any consistant characters like in Metroid or LoZ.
They'll probably have Ike or whoever, which would be like Marth anyways. Assuming

When I went to my first tournament, after playing the game as a whole for one month, I didn't get 4stocked by anyone except Eric. And I beat Adambrown's gameandwatch, the very first match I played against anyone good. Then I got 2stocked by Patooty's Marth. =/

So no johnz.

Plus, I 4stocked at least 2 of you when I came. and i'm assuming you guys didn't just start playing. I also 3stocked someone with pikachu, it was a fox player, I just don't remember who. Joel? Mind you, those were friendlies.
