Hi i wanna start goign to the fox boards more often and helping Critique some matches that people post up and such but i must get the aprroval of the fox community before i start doing that since everyones going to be going uh who are you and such so here are some vids so you guys can say if im even able to critique you guys =P

..for the short readers im basically putting vids up to see if im allowed to critiques other people... im wanting approval =)

You really don't need approval to comment on vids, as long as they're constructive and properly spelled.

That being said... your fox is pretty good.

and... is that some techno version of Adagio for Strings in the first video?

Your fox is good but careless at times. Seems to start off strong and gradually become more predictable. Need to think more about your matchups, gotta keep a better lookout for that Dsmash, when you can eliminate that 100% dsmash damage per round it makes Peach significantly easier.

-DI could use improvement (but hey. when could it not?)

-Your tech skill is overall pretty solid, you just need better discretion of how to use waveshine. In the 2nd vid you waveshined peach for a while but a waveshine->grab/upsmash would have been much more effective either initially or at the end of your waveshine chain. You just sort of let her go after a few.

-At higher %'s with floaties like Peach try Fthrow, but be quick about it...confusion is your ultimate weapon!

-Lots of sheiks try to avoid shieldgrabbing by having their dash attack finish behind you, use this to your advantage by turning around quickly before shielding if you sense a dash attack coming.

-I saw you use Uthrow->uair on sheik once and then you let her fall back to the ground; this is a perfect opportunity. Dashdance with sporadic wavedashes (maybe even a double jump just for more mindgames) and full jump into a well placed and unexpected uair (or bair if you want to mix it up, but always follow a good bair with lasers!)

-Peach is so hard to outprioritize in the air, and uthrow->uair isn't recommended above 20%, lest you be whacked in the face by her nair (as I witnessed in video 2)


Keep improving your mental game and you'll be one of those indestructible foxes soon enough.

Yeah, you don't really have to be uber to say anything. Just say say constructive.
And I'm Zeno though my username says otherwise. I should be geting a video soon, so take a glance if you want. I come here nearly everyday, so nice to meetcha.

I only watched the second video, since I was lazy, but I'll throw my opinion in there.
I like the Peach in there. Nothing like Mikael or anything, but pretty nice non the less. I saw C stick spamming, haha. Oh well, my Peach does it too if I dank or whatnot.

Anyway, for you. I think you're way too predictable there. He tech chased you a good number of times, and your approach is the same. Fox has the lasers and can avoid turnips wihtout too much of a hassle, so you should make her come to you. Learn to Shl if you can't. Oh, and work on your wavedash length, since I saw you couldn't reach Peach there. Fox should be able to get Peach pretty well since she slides a little less than Fox's wavedash. Another thing is don't full jump dair Peach too much. You get CC'd dsmash, umbrella, usmash, or anything pretty easily.

One waveshine into an usmash is more effective than the pointless waveshining your trying to do. Maybe waveshine chain into usmash would be better, but make sure you usmash. There are more effective things you can do than walljump over b back onto the stage every single time. Dont be discouraged though. <3

Falling uair can be awesome if you know how to use it, and when to use it. It starts comboes well. djc drills? double jump cancel drills? wtf is that =D But if you suggest using dair more, maybe. But predictable use of dair WILL get you punished, so you should use that with caution as well.
