when wavedashing forwards

momentum? or am i supposed to hold forward? or do i dash after it to go off..

of course it could be just distance...though i'm wondering why it feels like i'm doing the wavedash properly to have enough distance to get off..yet i end up at the edge with a shield...

or maybe that's it..amybe i'm supposed to let go of L faster..if you still have it held when you reach the edge then maybe you go into shield instead of falling off

Haha, uh, Idk. I walk or run it off if I'm that close to the edge instead of wavedashing forward, so no clue here.

It can be momentum or if you Wavedash too short and have to walk the slightest distance. You just don't want to be holding L or R.
Only really matters when you're wavelanding though.
