Instead of trying to get completely new characters from games that they havn't done, I think nintendo should focus on getting chars from the games that they have done, i.e zelda would be wolf form link.

I don't really think that Wolf Form Link would be great, considering that he has only been in 1 zelda game (which is Twilight Princess, if you didn't know) and isn't a very cool character, if you ask me. I would rather have Deity Link than Wolf Form Link, simply because:
-More combos
-Better looking (not gay, just saying the outfit and stuff)
-Has WEAPONS
Only DOWNFALLS to Deity Link would be:
-he's only been in Majora's Mask for 64
-minor character (like wolf link)
-too strong, people say
-looks kind of creepy, and might scare little children under the age of five.

You have a good "idea" processing in your mind right now, but if you could show "us" a picture of Wolf Link, and list some moves and special attacks, then you might get more "acceptance" from viewers and listeners on here.

And Wolf Link has a lot higher chance than Deity.

Anyway- trying not to hijack the thread. I disagree with you, hobo. Mostly, I think they should simply try to get good characters from wherever they can- and I think most good characters left to add are going to be from new games. While of course people want characters like Deedee and wolf link, there are a lot more choices in games not yet included.
I mean, really, what other important characters are there left to add? While the Mario universe has a few, for the most part new games will have more important characters to add. Also, adding characters from new games adds more incentive to add more stages and items to the game.

When making a thread about a "wanted" character in brawl, you generally have to discuss them. And no, FD link has a WHOLE lot of higher chances in being in brawl, than Wolf Link. Name a moveset for WL, and i'll maybe, just maybe, agree with you. Maybe....

Yes, it will probably be too much work for them, on making new stages for new character. For Example, if they added "Wolf Link", then they should make a stage, such as Hyrule Castle in Twilight Realm. Where they could fight on the roof tops of the stage/castle. Could take a long time, considering the background music, stage, characters, background, etc...

I THINK he's simply trying to say that Nintendo should put Nintendo characters in the game, and not third party characters.

There will be three third party characters, max, in the game. All others will be Nintendo.
