Pickachu and Raichu

How about having Pikachu and Raichu as the one character. It could be like how Zelda transforms into Sheik. This would also save character space. What do you think about the idea.

This has been said before. And it's a bad idea. A Zelda/Sheik transformation sounds more logical than a Pikachu/Raichu one. Pokémon can't re-evolve into their previous form, so if you transform from Pika into Raichu, you would be stuck and unable to transform back. And if Sakurai thinks that this idea is good (which I HIGHLY doubt) he'll probally understand it too that this is just unlogical, re-evolving Pokémon.

besides, pikachu is in because it is the pokemon mascot. not because it is the strongest form of its evolution. raichu shouldn't get in, and if sakurai is smart enough, he will not put it in. i don't even want raichu as a brawl move. the pikachu in the anime is seen as stronger than regular raichu so there isnt a need for raichu in the game. it would literally be a generic clone.
