i've noticed that ICs are desynched straight out of the gate, as soon as they spawn from that little platform thing at the start of a match; but i haven't really seen this desynch mentioned before, though i'm willing to bet that this is probably old news.

anyways, i don't know about you guys, but i like to start out my matches on most open places ( like FD) with an immediate desynched ice block chaser into maybe a SHFFL'd dair to grab or something, or with a straight away nanapult. but i haven't seen any vids of ICs taking advantage of this initial desynch, so what im asking is that is this tactic even smart?are there smarter alternatives? is this tactic new? hopefully, but probably not. i just wanna throw this one out to you fellow IC players. sorry if this is old as jesus.

I mentioned this a little while back. You can find it somewhere on the second page... Good find anyways though. My favorite thing to do personally is watch which controller port my opponent chooses. If they choose 1st, I'll choose 3rd; if they choose 2nd, I'll choose 4th and vice versa. Then eventually when you play on FD, your characters will be face to face with one another. I like to start the match with a blizzard into a free grab. If they do anything other than roll right away, you should at least land a couple hits from the blizzard. And if you get the grab, free kill.

I'll try that port thing. I do the spawn desynch all the time with ice blocks, but I don't usually chase out of the first one, that'll get really predictable really fast. But a couple blocks, Nanapult, yeah that can mess people up because they don't expect so many attacks so soon after starting the match.

I think Domo liked to use this a lot.
