Practice makes consistence. That's about it. You'll naturally adapt over time.

I wouldnt use the c-stick for any of fox's aerials if I were you.
His jump is just too crazy fast to be efficiently done with c-stick.
that should fix your illusioning problems because you might be accidentally pressing B while trying to press c-stick down.

Nah, it's all about practicing till you get it down. I shffl most of Fox's aerials with the c-stick and drillshine (or any aerial to shine) works fine for me.

theres nothing wrong with using the C-stick for fox.
i myself use it for SH U-air and D-air or drillshines.
its just a matter of preference(dunno if this is a word :p)

Hmm, I used to have an illusion-cide problem a long while ago. pretty much the best way to cure it is to just set aside a uncontrolled human and practice practice practice. :P You'll eventually build some good finger memory and it will quit happening.

Yeah I use the C-stick for all but nair of course...I don't really know how to help you..I jump with the control stick so I don't have this problem./

Stop complaining. No piece of advice will cure your problem instantly when it comes to the motions of your own fingers. If you can't do it, practice. If you still can't do it, play Tekken.

Use the tip of your thumb to use the C-stick so that you can't hit the B button. Besides that, just practice.

i think i wanted to know more so, whether or not X/Y is the best way to go, i use Y, and becuz its over B, i hit it sometimes, not a lot like i said, but it can be frusterating

There is no "better" button to press. Use whatever feels more comfortable. If you still can't decide, learn to use both. It's all a matter of preference; it shouldn't hinder your tech skill in the least bit.

Like Silent Wolf said, if you practice you'll get it down no problem.

And PLEASE practice against humans if you can >_>...If not..lvl.1 comps are the way to go.

i also use Y to jump, and i c-stick all his arials and i have definitely been there man. i figured out a neat little trick tho. i hit the very bottom of the Y button with the tip of my thumb (notice that the joint in the middle of your thumb is closer to the c-stick when you press Y with the tip) and use the middle of my thumb to hit the c-stick. it's closer to the c-stick and higher above the controller than the tip so it's easier to avoid hitting B. I think Y is better than X for jumping cuz it's easier to go straight down to the c-stick from Y instead of diagonally down from X. just my preference. anyways, hope that helped.
