Heh heh, I'm going to be in Woolongong Saturday night at my friends party...So I can't make the pre-tourney smash. It should be interesting getting back to Sydney by...what time was it? 9 or something? I have a feeling I'm going to be very tired on the day of the tourney...

if i dont go to the pre tourney thing could i get a lift up with you? or are u catching the train? My only problem with the pre tourney thing is that i have no where to stay in sydney.

Yeah turtle that should be fine...though you know how I am with directions, and I'm not really all to familiar with the backstreets of Woolongong...so it could make things interesting (I'll be coming from Berkley).Plus if you need a place to crash Sunday night Combo, I suppose I can lend a mattress and a space of floor.

And yeah I wont forget Funky's cube (and game), nor my own. Anyone know what time registrations start? I cant really remember off the top of my head.

Registrations start from 9am and finish at 1pm. During that time is practice before the tourney. So you'll be bringing ur stuff as well as Funky's? Cool!

guys i think i've said it before but i am so swamped with tafe work that i can only afford one day off... that being sunday for the tourny soz guys, bad timing much.

i'm predicting 30+ people for this tournament... which is insane... i don't know how many of those people are serious aout smash or now what they're getting themselves into... but yeah thats allota people

...I agree with Jaz on this one. I've seen heaps of new players interested in coming, more than I can count. Every now and then we have one or two good players out of nowhere and that's what's good about tourneys. And after the tourney, those who really are interested in getting better will participate more in the smash scene and will make a better effort at the next tournament.

Pat - online registrations are there to replace registering on the day and to save Brinton some time with organising the tournament.

bad news one and all. i'm most likely gonna have to pull out of the tournament. i decided that it would be unfair of me to enter as i'm just too god **** good, and you all deserve a fair chance of winning the money. hahahaha nah, my friends bday is sunday, and were going paintballing. paintball > smash, and i'm kinda obliged to go. which really sucks, cos now i'm gonna have missed 2 tournies.

which brings me to my next point - saturday is now much more likely to happen before, as i gotta get some smashing in some time :P
