I know i'm confirmed to go to this tournament, but i'm not sure if I can attend, if I stay tentative, can I still turn up on the day and register?
I guess I don't really want to enter a tounrament with all the good NSW players, since i've only been playing for 3months on and off, I know will get destroyed... I guess I want to do it for the experience and to hopefully get taught something while i'm there. Does anyone really want me to come, i'd just give some an easier route to the finals, but I might turn up, I'm not sure...
I doubt I can bring a TV, I might be able to if my mummy takes me there, but I can bring my Wii, Disc, and 3-4 controllers, they are kind of chat controllers, so they **** up easily lol. $60 for four of them though :)
That's cool. If you're too intimidated, you don't have to go to the tournament. But you can still stay for the friendlies and practise with alot of people.
As for the Accessories u mentioned you don't need to bring 3 - 4 controllers. Just bring your own and if there are some people who want to use spares, the games club will have some.
The number of new players in tournaments doesn't necessarily mean an easier route to the finals for the pro players. You'll see what I mean on the day if you come.

Don't worry about bringing in spare controllers; EGG's got 7 spares and they're in really good condition. That said, don't go wrecking them =P

alright guys, for all who want to know about the saturday smasherday, heres the deal. nothing formal, but im happy to have over anyone that wants to come. itll start around midday, and continue until about 6.30-ish (got a friends birthday to get to with a bartab. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bartab.) now the deal is, i have one cube and several tvs (and a home theatre. which is annoying to get the hang of, but kinda cool). however, i only have my own cube and memory card. SO, if you want to come, another cube / card or two would be appreciated.
NB: dont expect this to be a big thing. i realise i left it really late and didnt organise it, so i blame myself, but dont bother coming if youre expecting a meet with 10 people. itll be chilled, though, cos i can provide food for those that do come (sisters birthday today - leftover donuts :P).
Give me a call before like midday to let me know if youre interested. ill have it even if only one person comes, but the more the merrier. don't leave it past midday to call me - else ill probably be elsewhere :P got heaps to do this w/e.

Hey Imortal, I'm not sure who you are...dont think we've met..
But about coming to the tourney, If youre interested in smash and interested in getting better, I think it's a good idea for you to come. We're always looking for more players to get involved as it helps our scene grow, so even if you're not that experienced I'd encourage you to come. You will learn a lot from coming along and maybe even have a good time :P
I think registration closes about 1pm, even if you're not signed up on the website. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Ha ha. I've been getting everyone to bring their GC/Wii and I'd say we've got like 12 of them. However, we have 9 copies of Smash. Anybody have spares? Take them! (bit late lol.)
TVs are running a bit low for the number of people attending but I'm sure we can fit a whole day of smash. Oh and I'll be at the concourse at 8:30am.
The question regarding recording vids has been repeated like 5 times already. And Brinton has answered all of them. Which means, he will be recording vids.
I could take pics for 2moz but smash is just soo addictive even I forget to take pics of these events. I'll take my camera in case...
Glue - big thanks for hosting us and letting us have a great day at ur place. Shame I didn't get to vs you.
Bjay - mad as hell as ever. Even with the Peach 'rustyness' the best I could do was take you down by three stocks. No johns! Oh and Mario is good against the space animals. Take a leaf out of Azen's Mario and see how he deals with them. (Azen vs PC Chris vids)
Nesis - Hope you have a great day tomorrow! We'll be missing you this time but there will always be a next time! Your Marth is improving heaps better and in no time you'll have him down pat.
Oh those doubles matches were pretty crazy :p

PS: Stu, yeah trust me, maybe I should be back on track tomorrow, as long as I don't play on a bloody empty stomach again like last time, but yeah still rusty trust me, so used to dragon ball z, I kept trying to 'charge up' a lot LOL. e.g. those charged smashes.

Sorry guys, I would've loved to come, but my mummy made other plans without me knowing :( But I promise if i'm free, the nest Sydney tournament which is hopefully soon, you'll see me there... I should kinda stand out around you older people, i'm 15 lol... 5ft 8" 50kgs... I'm quite the tiny figure.

Yeah 4th I retained my rank, I'm satisfied, well done to everyone again, I had a great time today.
I had particularly had enjoyed all my tournament matches, as all of them were close, it was
always 2-1 in the end. Pat's match I particularly enjoyed, though I did a dumb downward dodge instead of grab :P But yeah those were REALLY close, I can't wait to see the videos...*whistles*
The Phil guy is great, never got to vs his Fox yet, did anyone tell him to register? He's on the A-N Forum, I knew him from there lol.
