Yay! QLD smashers - that's good. =D
Sydney is smack right on the best place for QLD vs NSW. Last time we had a nationals smash tourney it all failed (fairly hard). This time we'll make sure it'll be heaps of fun + also in the best venue right in the middle of the city and right next to central station.

Talk about win! S3 is already a cool name as it is, Kulla.
This is our first real official nationals tournament.

Smash meets this friday? Me attending is tentative (either Jaz's or Bjay's.) as I dunno what's happening this friday. Ha ha I usually have something else reserved on the 'non biweekly' weeks so I may not be able to come.

What about Comboturtle? Are you able to come to the meet this friday?

S3 Cubed
When: Saturday 7th July
9:00 AM - Start for registration and friendlies.
12:00 PM - Doubles tournament starts. Singles rego still open.
3:00 PM - Expected finish for doubles.
4:00 PM - Singles tournament starts.
7:00 PM - Expected finish for singles. Casual play until packup.
Where: Ashmore Smith Room, Tower Building, UTS
Cost: $5pp singles, $5pp doubles.

Sanc: We'll keep Swiss but probably just make it best-of-one matches to keep them quick.

Brinton - we should have a swiss system where when the top 8 get in the finals, those who didn't get in keep going for a few more rounds to get a better ranking result. Plus its more fun that way.

Crew battles I agree - best of NSW vs best of VIC (Ha ha see how that one went last time XD) vs best of QLD.

Maybe we should have the Crew battles, the finals and the money matches on the second day and leave the first day for only the swiss system and doubles matches? and... with a two day tourney... Does that mean we won't have a best of one for our swiss matches now? :D

p.s. Ah its still an 8 man finals bracket?? ...but theres so many good people coming!! It's gonna be pretty hard to get into the finals this time T_T
