I agree, it was a fun meet :D I enjoyed matching up against all you guys and realising just how much I need to rectify my playing style and technical game to get back on par with regular smashers XD With a few more meets, I should be back somewhere near the skill level I had at Animania. Maybe even better, considering I've learnt a few new things since I was at my prime.

Also, please forgive me if I forget who is who; I'm terrible with names XD So far, I think I can match the names Dedu, Berimbau, Bjay, Kulla, Jaz, and Sid with their respective faces ... I think...

Also, lmao @ myself. I accidentally left at 4:45 instead of 5:45. *thumps his head on his table* <_> Stupid much? XD I missed a whole hour of smashing for no good reason. Doh.

Anyways, I had a great time and definitely want to go to more meets - here's hoping uni and such time-consuming events permit! :D

Thanksies to Kulla for allowing me to stay the nite - public transport to my house without the ferry option takes waay too long. The ferry cuts the length of the bus trip by a very big number.

Nesis - you heard Bjay coz I asked someone if he was here or not at Kulla's place. I was hoping to vs him so I could have some more Peach practise. Oh well. The tournament will show my skills if I get to vs any Peach players in doubles/singles. Bjay in particular. Nametags? Sure I'll stick one on my shirt on the tournament day. Look for DEDU.

Jaz - props for being a major challenge. At least I managed to beat your ? with my sheik in one battle. Gotta keep at it.
Berimbau - never got to vs you much but still your Pika is bad as ever! You see waaay too many openings in my style. Pretty much about half the people at Comrades are on your skill level.
Kulla - Keep at it with your Luigi and Ganon. You have a solid aggressive style. I enjoyed those battles we had. LMAO for the Sheik ditto we had. One stock left each and we couldn't Fair once for like a minute. And then I started to crack up due to frustration. Didn't we get up to like > 120% each?
Nesis - I can see you have a basic understanding of Marth. Marth dittos are just rape and no skill IMO. Sometimes I even fall for the basic Fsmash once in a while coz I didn't react fast enough (sidestep dodge/roll/shield/spacing/priority counter/counter). Eh gotta say thanks to ComboTurtle for those Marth dittos. Anything to Fsmash rapes Marth. Not Fsmash itself.
Funky - shame we never got to vs each other. And you left before I knew you left. XD
El Sid - I was one of the 'other guys' and I did get to play you. Your Ganon's improving heaps and I must say it's becoming a bit of a challenge now.

Guys! We now have ONE week left before S3! And it will go by very fast (maybe not for those who have exams...). I'm asking everyone to please -
1. If you can, bring your GC/Wii AND a copy of Smash+mem card. Also, write your name on your stuff so they don't get mixed with other ppls.
2. Confirm on this website (http://php.egg.org.au/signups/?id=1) if you really are going. I don't want all 'tentative', have everything arranged for those confirmed and then everyone turn up and complain there wasn't enough tvs or GCs or sofas. Once again, please confirm if you haven't.
3. err.. Is there a no 3? I guess not.

As for the tvs, I'm still working on that and I will talk to Brinton (Mr Monkey) about it. I have some following suggestions to dealing with that situation seeing how we have 5 tvs and 20 people confirmed. (32 ppl interested) Seeing we need approx 8 more tvs to accomodate everyone -
- hire tvs from tv places. Cost $$$ tho.
- Get everyone to bring their tvs if possible. Creates another problem - UTS is too hard to reach easily by car and people can't walk 500m with potentially a heavy tv in hand. For that option, I'll have to look into how the uts parking system works and work out if they can let people in for a very short while, free of charge, so they can use the lifts from carpark to move tvs to the concourse.
- Let everyone complain about the lack of services and make them do something about it next tournament. (the LAST option if the others don't work)

um i dont think many people will sign up at that egg thing... we should expect more people than the people that do sign up there because, i dont even think ive bothered to sign up there and i know people who are probably going to come and havent even posted in this forum or shown their interest at all.
