F-Zero AX

F-Zero GX will be the very first game to utilise the Tri-Force platform. Not only will we be playing the newest F-Zero on our gamecube, but we will also be able to play it at the arcades as the counter part F-Zero AX. In the arcade you will be able to slip down in the drivers seat with a nice force feedback wheel instead of the ordinary Gamecube controller, and of course pedals. If you bring your memory card to the arcade you can "download" new machine parts, the records you set, and many other things like that. There are two types of the arcade carbinet the deluxe that tilts when you take sharp corners etc. and the standard carbinet.

When playing the AX version of F-Zero you can pick up a F-Zero License card to use for Internet Ranking. First insert the card into the card slot. Then pick either Time Attack or Grand Prix mode. When you finish the game you will be given a 12-16 columns long password. Then you can log on to the official F-Zero Internet Ranking site and insert the necessary info. There will also be printed marks on your license card whenever you make any progress in F-Zero AX.
